And there the mellow sonnet goes,
her throaty voice away it flows,
into the world where no one knows,
where she is witness to her prose;
succumbing to the outlandish sanity,
tucked behind a veil full of humanity;
where she wishes to be used,
so that she may feel more alive,
for she has already been abused,
by the jagged things we call knives,
and she does hate these demons,
who whisper within her head,
these demons trying to make her fall,
for the monsters tucked under the bed;
and now this crying girl needs someone,
to take care of her sprouting tree,
someone to create a scorching pathway,
to the withered feelings that may be;
her beating heart needs to feel,
the extent of their bloody reel,
her beating heart needs to understand,
why they do what they demand;
and there her padding shoes go again,
singing into the imaginary lane;
her lullaby of fortunate sadness,
filled with none but only madness;
being a victim in the stormy tempest,
seductively wooing the temptress,
laughing, taunting, and prancing,
to the music of silence with feet dancing;
before the demon within her heart hears,
and encloses in on her deepest fears,
and captures her in her victimized mind,
where there is no one left for her to find.
