Accost ! The moon and the sun have been united,
the rose and the violet have been spited;
and now they both tumble in eras of grey,
for now petals rumble over every dismay;
and we hear their fallacious voices,
the wrath of having made the wrong choices;
and now in much haste the jokers have lost,
because having a taste is much expensive a cost;
and now the queens are screaming for the battle,
the kings are making do with their clothing rattle;
now the bells are chiming underneath the fury,
the sun is rising over the moonlight's jury;
and the shields lay amock sleeping to their doom,
as the predators come closer, come closer for their boon.
