Underneath this willow my ears and my eyes,
succumb to your fever, succumb to nature's demise,
and now I have glimpsed your breathless entireties,
I have witnessed the myriad of your deities,
now blind me against the tempest that you spew,
blind me against the fate that starts anew;
for I am a lover, your lover in truth,
and my bleeding heart I do need you to soothe;
so come towards me this tempest of despair,
let me drown so you will see that you care;
let my heart be a thousand times bruised,
let my mind be a thousand times used;
for here I am on my safety haven land,
here I am in the kingdom covered in sand;
and now I overthink with the Titanic falling,
whilst my soul sinks into the abyss calling;
until I am blinded by this glorious heft,
until I realize that with you there is nothing left.
