"No!" I yelled at my brother, Mitchell, who was a dentist. "I won't come with you!" Next thing I knew, my door burst open, and both Finn and Mitchell came into my room. They were twins, and looked almost exactly alike, and even had similar careers. Mitchell is a dentist, and Finn is an orthodontist. Right now, they were trying to get me to come to a check up, but I hate all doctors and dentists, so I was refusing. It's kind of ironic, because all of my brothers are either doctors or dentists, or studying to become a doctor. And I have seven brothers. What also sucks is that I'm the only girl in the family. They know I'm terrified, so they try not to mix work with home, but when they want to examine me, I flip out. Mitchell and Finn grabbed my arms, and dragged me out of my room. When they got to the stairs, Finn picked me up, and carried me down the stairs and out the door. I was thrashing in his arms, trying to get away but he wouldn't let me. He put me in the backseat, and Him and Mitchell got in the car. They drove to their office, and got out of the car. I locked my door, but they just unlocked the door. I curled up into a ball on the ground in the backseat, and they couldn't get me out. "Do you want me to call Charlie?" Asked Finn. I wasn't really scared of Charlie, because I had never had surgery, but he was also my guardian, because my parents died when I was 10. He could be scary if he wanted to be, and I knew that he would force he out of the car if he came, so I reluctantly got out of the car. Mitchell and Finn each grabbed one of my hands, and dragged me into an examination room. Mitchell locked the door, and then I got even more scared. "Can you sit on the chair, Cam?" Said Finn. I just stared at him, his words not making sense in my brain. He walked towards me slowly, and picked me up. He gently slid me onto the dental chair, and I just stayed there. I was completely zoned out, and more scared than ever before, because last time Finn checked my teeth, he said that I needed braces, and some other kind of torture device that I forget the name of. I always found Mitchell less scary, because he has never really hurt me. Finn hasn't either, but he wants to put braces on me so... yeah. First, Mitchell wanted to check my teeth for cavities, and clean them, and I was OK with that. I still hated it, but it wasn't painful, so it wasn't as bad. It also helps that Mitchell is literally the most gentle and nice person you will ever meet. Once he finished, he let me rinse out my mouth with water, and I got out for the chair. I tried to open the door, but then I remembered that it was locked. I turned around, and saw Finn looking at me with a smirk. Mitchell was giving me an apologetic look, and I knew that this wasn't his fault. It's always Finn. He is always trying to do something to me. "Come on, Cam." He said. "Please sit?" I shook my head. He scared me too much. Mitchell walked over quickly and picked me up, but I started to squirm. He managed to keep a hold on me, and sat down in the chair, but with his legs across it, because when he was holding me, it was like I was sitting in the chair properly, and my legs were just on top of his. I tried to get out, but Mitchell held me there. I felt trapped, and I started to cry. Mitchell held me, and rocked me, and eventually calmed me down. Another thing about my brothers, their all either six feet tall, or taller. I'm only 5'5, so this always puts me at a disadvantage when it comes to anything physical with them. I felt Finn tilt the chair back, and he asked my to open my mouth, but I refused. "Please, Cammy?" Finn said. I opened my mouth a little bit, not wanting to make him mad. Mitchell held my hand, and Finn gently opened my mouth a bit more. My jaw was pretty stiff, so Finn stopped trying to get me to open my mouth, and started to give me a jaw massage. It felt really good, and then my mouth opened on its own. Finn smiled, and began to look at my teeth. Mitchell slipped headphone on to my head, and I started watching a movie. I don't know what movie it was, but I kept me distracted. About ten minutes later, Mitchell pulled the headphone off, and smiled at me. Finn sat the chair up, and rolled his chair in front of me. "Cam, you need braces." He said. "I think I already told you that." I felt tears in my eyes, and I leaned up against Mitchell. "I know, sweetie, braces suck." Whispered Mitchell. "You can get through it though." "You also have an overbite." Said Finn. "There are two ways to correct it. I can give you headgear, that you have to wear 24/7, or every night, I can put in a metal coil and take it out the next morning. With both options, you'll need an expander, a device that slowly expands your jaw." When I heard that, I freaked out. I started sobbing into Mitchell, and he just comforted me. Finn pulled out his phone, and started looking for something. "I used to have braces and headgear too." Said Finn. "Mitchell had an expander and braces." Finn showed me a picture from when they were a lot younger, and they both had a lot of metal in their mouths. "Braces have changed since then, Cam." Said Finn. "Their a lot smaller and less painful. So, option number one or option number two?" He asked. "Option number two." I said. It sounded maybe more painful, but I didn't want to wear headgear. "OK, Cam, I'm going to put in your expander today. You only have to wear it for two weeks, then you get braces." Said Finn. When I heard that, I tried to jump off of Mitchell, but he held me tight, keeping me on the chair. I started sobbing into Mitchell, and he whispered words of encouragement to me. He put the headphones on my head, and Finn tilted the chair back. He massage my jaw open, and quickly put in a mouth prop. I panicked for a second, but Mitchell held my hand and calmed my down. Finn started by cleaning all my teeth, then putting some type of glue on them. Then, he grabbed something off the tray, and then suddenly there was a lot of pain in my mouth. I burst of sobbing, my mouth being in so much pain. Finn took the torture device out, and I heard Finn mutter something about this not being good, and I flipped out. I almost flopped off of the chair, but Mitchell still had a good grip on me, so I was stuck. Mitchell rolled me back into place, and Finn sat the chair up. He took out the mouth prop, so I could talk, and I closed my mouth. "Cam, there's a small problem. Your top jaw is too small for an expander so I can't put one there. I can put an expander in your bottom jaw, which is what I'm going to have to do. After every time Mitchell if I tighten your expander, we'll have to secure your jaws together, so your bottom jaw can widen your top jaw. Once your top jaw is wide enough, which should take about a week, we can unwired your jaw, and put an expander in your top jaw as well." At this point, everything Finn was saying to me was not registering in my brain, so I just nodded, putting the headphones back on and closing my eyes. I felt Finn lean the chair back, and him opening my mouth. I felt the mouth prop, and the pain of the expander in my bottom jaw, even though it wasn't as bad a before. I felt Finn attach hooks to my teeth, which I guess would keep my jaw shut. Soon, Finn sat up the chair, and took my headphones off. "This is the key." Said Finn. "This is the key for your expander. Every night, Mitchell of I will place it in your expander and turn it three times. After that, we will use elastics and a wire to shut your jaw. This will only be for a week." Said Finn. I nodded tiredly, and slumped against Mitchell. Mitchell picked me up, and brought me outside to the car, with Finn following behind us. This is why I like Mitchell so much more that Finn. One, he doesn't try and rearrange my teeth, and he is just more gentle.
