Li Yu forbid herself to sleep until Dai Yu came back.
No matter how hard she tried to fight her fatigue. She didn't hold up. Slowly she sank away in a deep peaceful sleep.

Dai stood up and put the blanket back on the bed.
"Come. Wash day." she said, "are you coming along?"
