the days past by until it was finally saturday—
a day i dreaded for.

i was finishing cutting up the vegetables for the japchae (stir-fried starch noodles) i was making.

i looked over at my phone and read 6:34.

i still had to shower and get ready while finishing up the meals.

i went over to the stove and stir fried the vegetables.

taehyung finally came downstairs wearing a gray blazer.

he was fixing his coat when he came over to where I was.

"you're still not ready?" he said in a rushing tone.

i shook my head no and turned my head over to the vegetables in the pan.

"what do you need to still do?" he asked.

you just have to finish the vegetables and fry it with the noodles.

"alright i'll do it." he said while sighing.

i handed him the wooden spoon while i quickly rushed upstairs to shower.

i quickly blow dried my hair while putting on my dress.

i quickly applied my makeup and curled my hair a little.

it took around thirty minutes for me to get ready.

"y/n!"

before i could even answer taehyung barged into my room.

"oh good you're almost done"

i nodded while putting on my earrings.

he sat down on the corner of my bed.

"ok so i finished the japchae and i placed them in the bowls" he stated.

i nodded in reply.

i finished curling my hair. i tried pulling up the zipper from earlier, but it only went up half of the way.

i kept on struggling till taehyung said "come here"

i walked over to him and turned around as he zipped up the back.

"can you also tie the ribbon too?" i asked.

taehyung sighed as he pulled me a bit closer and tied the black ribbon.

"there"

i went up to the mirror and looked at myself

"do you think i look fine?"

"yes you look great, let's go now they are going to arrive any minute." he said sarcastically while in a rushing tone.

taehyung got up as i went to grab my heels as i quickly put them on.

we walked down the stairs while i was behind taehyung—
struggling to walk in these heels.

the last time i wore them was the wedding and i was still not even used to it.

by the fourth to last step i tripped and twisted my ankle a bit, luckily before i fell taehyung caught me.

i stared at his dark brown eyes as i felt his grip tighten around my waist.

"ugh can you stop being clumsy for once!" he said highly irritated now.

i stood back up

"sorry sorry i am still not used to these" i said while finishing the last three steps.

i went over and finished setting up the table.

after i was finished i heard taehyung say "they're here"
