"So what's the plan tomorrow?" he asked her.
"Well, I think that I have convinced Patrick to get up early and jog with me before we have to leave. I really hate that treadmill" Adam laughed at the uncharacteristic aggression in her voice.
"Good for you. Patrick is not really a morning person though, so be forewarned."
"Good to know" she smiled. "I'm off to bed now but I'll call you in the morning before I leave for work"
"Okay, sweetheart. Sweet dreams"
"Be careful" she said quietly. "Good night"
"Good night, Sam"
