Her phone call with Adam that night was quick as he only had a few minutes.
"Be careful" Samantha quietly spoke into the phone as they were hanging up. "I'll call you in the morning"
His heart expanding as he smiled. "I like that you worry about me" he teased. "Sleep well, beautiful"
"Bye" she breathed.
"Bye" he murmured back to her before hanging up.
