Tiny Point of View

"He seems to be hard to deal with." Papa commented and honestly, I agree.

He is a hard nut to crack. But, like Soul always says, I'm a crack so I might crack him too.

"What do you like about him, Tiny dear?" Grandma asked giving me a glass of fresh milkshake she made for me.

She is close to hundred but her energy is worth envious. She can carry logs of wood singlehandedly at this age and does all her work by herself.

Not just that, she is also self employed. She is a matchmaker and had made more than seven hundred matches out of which, ninety nine percent are successful.

"I just... like the feeling of being around him, with him. No solid reason; I just like it." I said in a dreamy tone.

I looked down to see my family members giving me a knowing nod while few of my cousins shook their head in confusion.

They will know when they meet a thunderous person like Human sculpture in their life.

"What should I do to make him fall in love, Papa? What do you men usually like and expect from women?" I asked my Papa and my uncles, wanting to gain from their valuable experience.

Almonds are the most supportive family members in the world. We Almonds may be dry in the fruits but juicy otherwise.

"Did you show your charms to him? Your innocence, your playfulness etc?" Eldest uncle asked me to which I nodded.

Of course, from the moment I met him, that was what I am doing. Show myself transparent to him.

"And he still is unresponsive?" My second aunt asked to which I nodded slightly.

"I think that's the problem there." Papa commented.

He leaned forward supporting his head on his hands which were on his knees. With a tsk, he started, "You see, my daughter; There are few categories that we men might like in women respectively."

Okay, let's note this down.

"One," He showed his pointed finger. "Women are like colors. So some men like women who are innocent and somewhat stupid. They usually like the dominance and protectiveness that comes with an innocent woman. I don't think there is no example for this in our family."

Stupid, definitely no. Then am I an innocent woman?

"Two, some like women who are feisty, smart and spontaneous. Usually, their sass is the charm that will make men go crazy for her. Just like your youngest uncle and aunt. Your uncle might not say it but whenever your aunt retorts back with sass, your uncle loves it. It's like his life is full and happy." Youngest uncle nodded in confirmation with a grin.

It's my goal to be feisty but I'm not really that aggressive in nature. Sass, I think I have a little in me.

So do I belong to second category?

"Three, There are some men who fall for women's beauty. The outer beauty. Personality comes second and looks comes first. Just like your mama and me. I fell for her beauty first then we clicked on."

I'm beautiful and men have high possible to go crazy for me for my beauty.

"Four, women who are kind, caring and too much of an angel. Usually devil kind of men fall for them. That is how your eldest uncle and aunt got married." My eldest uncle passed on a smirk to my aunt who shied away.
