Avery's POV:

I woke up to my alarm going off, I let out a groan and turned around and hit the snooze button, 'man it sucks having to set up an alarm' I got up and quickly got ready and headed down stairs, I looked around and noticed that my mom was nowhere to be seen, I looked around for a note and saw one on the fridge, 'I had to leave for work early, breakfast in the microwave' I put the note back and reached for the microwave and quickly ate my breakfast and headed out. 'Wait the letter' I thought to myself, stopping in my tracks and picking up the envelope, I shoved it in my bookbag and decided to read it later when I had the time since school was a bit more important than one little letter- well I hope this letter isn't too important. I walked towards James house since we usually do walk together unless something came up from either of our parents-

James POV:

I walked out my house and turned my head to see Avery walking towards my house, I quickly walked down the stairs, I saw that Avery was now next to me, "I hope you enjoyed your happy meal" Avery said "yes, yes I did" I responded.

James POV:
We finally made it to school- it wasn't that long of a walk for Avery, but it is for me since I don't have Josh with me,though Avery says i'm being over dramatic which is not true.

Narrator's POV:

Avery and James went their separate ways to get to class, Avery had a different class to go to each morning. Avery arrived at her class, as her day had finally started, with a 'sigh' Avery opened her chrome book, since she mostly goes on google classroom during Physical Science.

Avery's POV:

Since my teacher never goes up and properly teaches the class, he just assigns work to do on google classroom all the time, there has only been a few rare times when he would explain what we are learning about. Nobody listens to him anytime he gets on to them  when they act up, mostly because he doesn't really pay attention to what the class does until it gets 'too loud' and he always randomly leaves the class alone for at least 30 minutes- but enough throwing shade, I got to get this assignment done before class ends since his assignments are always due at the end of class.-time skip-

Avery's POV:

'Good thing the class ended early' I thought to myself as I walked down the hallway, I grabbed my phone and decided to text James. Since I have all my credits in one specific class I get a free period, though for James he is busy trying to get caught up. 'James- how are you holding' up in class' I texted, ... 'Oh shi-' I thought as I bumped into someone, 'of course this gotta happen. I swear sometimes I think my life is just like a story..'  'maybe- nah that's impossible I think' I landed painfully on my bottom, "ouch" I groaned in pain, "oh my bad Avery didn't see you" Said Noah, he reached his hand waiting for me to grab, I gripped his hand and hopped up, "thanks, and I wasn't looking either so it's kinda both of our fault" I said finally responding, 'this is awkward-' 'bing' 'perfect timing' I looked back down at my phone to see the most disrespectful text 'it's none of your business child' 'wooowwww' I texted back, 'the disrespect is unreal' I texted again. 'Whatever kid' James responded, 'guess he ain't getting a reply since he is too busy being a big fat bully, "uh.. See you later, I guess" Noah said, I just waved my hand up to show that I was listening and went on with my day.
