I smiled walking to her bathroom, "how heavy?" I asked.
"Guess." She smiled.
"Uhm 158?" I joked.
"No." She deadpanned.
"No jokes. Alrighty then uhm 130?" I asked.
"More." She smiled.
"No way." I told her.
"It's been a whole week since I was 128." She told me.
"136." I squinted.
"Bingo." She smiled.
"That's amazing. Do you still feel too small?" I asked.
"No, but I feel like I should be fuller?" She smooshed the small amount of stomach fat she had.
"Whatever you think. I'm so proud of you." I grabbed her arms, pulling her into me.
She hugged me, breathing in heavily.
"Do you actually like that smell?" I asked referencing the weed I smoked.
"On you." She looked up at me.
I leaned down, kissing her firmly and she almost melted against me.
"I have to study." She whispered softly, our foreheads together.
"Library?" I asked.
"Mmhm." She nodded.
"I'll walk you out." I kissed her again, grabbing her backpack over my shoulder and holding her hand.
"Oh look." She pointed to the neighbors moving in.
I let her book bag into the passenger side of her car, holding her hand.
"Wanna say hi?" I asked and she nodded.
We walked over there and saw the two women talking.
"Hey." Ari smiled and the two looked at us.
"Hi! You live there?" The brunette pointed toward our house.
"We do." She nodded.
"Oh, you're the girl who used to live here." The black haired girl said.
"I am." She gave a wary smile.
"I apologize, I'm Lisa, this is my wife Jordyn. I was your fathers ex- defense lawyer." She offered a hand and she shook it, offering it to me and I did as well.
"I'm Ariella as you know, this is my boyfriend Kai." She introduced.
"Hello." I nodded.
"The night and shining armor. I have this feeling you two are the next Romeo and Juliet. Bonnie and Clyde." Her wife joked.
"Dying young are we?" I laughed.
"Oh no, oh no I'm sorry that's not what I meant." She laughed.
"She's a bit ditzy, it's real nice meeting you." She waved and her wife walked in the house.
"I'm so sorry she's drunk, I'm here if y'all need absolutely anything. I'm sorry for your loss Ari, you're a sweet girl with a big heart. Kai I can't imagine being in your place, you're a true gentleman and I hope this offer ain't weird since y'all legally are adults but I'd love to make dinner and have y'all over sometime? I won't give Jordyn any alcohol and she has no idea the history of this house other than a man named Kai saved Ari. A love story for sure." She said and my heart thumped against my chest.
"Nice meeting you, we might have to take you up on the dinner offer." I smiled.
"Lovely meeting you." Ari nodded and we walked back to her car where I opened the drivers side for her.
She kissed my lips softly before getting into the car.
"Tell me when you're coming home." I said and she smiled.
"I love you."
"I love you more." I mumbled as she began her drive to the library.
