After walking with Zenitsu and Tanjiro, Obito finally arrived at their destination. It was a mansion that seemed to be abandoned
"I can smell blood but this scent" Tanjiro said
"What smell is it, you say? " Zenitsu asked
"I've never smelled it before" Tanjiro said
"Don't mind the smell, did you hear that sound? " Zenitsu asked
"Besides we have to work together" Zenitsu said
"Sound? " Tanjiro asked
"I don't hear or smell anything" Obito said
And then they all heard sounds of shivering and saw 2 kids in the edge of the forest
"There are children" Zenitsu said
"What are you doing here? " Tanjiro asked the kids
The 2 kids only got more scared and backed away a bit
"Okay I'll show you something you might like, look, it's a sparrow in a hand" Tanjiro said and pulled out a sparrow
The sparrow proceeded to make some noises and jump around a bit
"Isn't it cute" Tanjiro said
The 2 kids calmed down a bit
"So tell me, what happened? " Tanjiro asked
Meanwhile Obito was in the sidelines watching Tanjiro calm down the kids as Obito knew well that he isn't good at it
After a few minutes Zenitsu said something
"Tanjiro, tell me what sound this is, it's making me feel uneasy, is it a drum? "
Zenitsu said
"A noise? I don't hear anything" Tanjiro said
"I also don't hear anything" Obito said
After a few seconds a person fell down from the window and landed in a blood splatter
"Don't look" Tanjiro said to defend the 2 kids
Obito went to inspect the body and saw that he was very much dead
"Obito-san, how is he? " Tanjiro asked
"Sorry Tanjiro, he's dead" Obito said
"Obito-san, isn't that the 2 kids-" Zenitsu said before being cut off
Then suddenly they all heard a roar and sound of drums
"Is this your brother" Tanjiro asked
"That's not him, our older brother wore a persimmon kimono" The older one of the 2 kids said
Tanjiro made a short prayer to the body
"Well then, Zenitsu, Obito, let's go" Obito said
Zenitsu was in a terrified state and shakes his head
"But only you, me, and Obito-san can save them" Tanjiro said
"Well too bad, you're coming with us" Obito said
Obito proceeded to lift zenitsu up from the back of the collar
"Why, why, why Obito-san! " Zenitsu wailed around
Tanjiro set his box down near where the 2 kids were and then returned to Obito and Zenitsu and they walked to the mansion, except for Zenitsu who was being carried
Inside the mansion was dirty and dusty but they kept on walking
"Obito, you'll protect me right? " Zenitsu said who has accepted that he can't get out
"Of course" Obito said
