"Oyakata-sama, you can't be serious, we don't even know who he really is yet" Sanemi said
"In fact we do. Around two weeks ago, we had a hashira meeting where Furutani and Kurokawa told us a lot about the demon hunter, including his name, Obito Uchiha" Oyakata said
"My swordsmen, I know you are all anxious and surprised at the sudden new addition to the hashiras but you must realize that Obito fights demons along side us and and and apparently, he has a weapon called the shakujo which has anti-regenaration abilities which is more powerful than our nichirin swords" Oyalata said
"What about his skill, what if it isn't on par with a hashira? " Obanai asked
"Good question, and how do you propose we solve it? " Oyakata asked
"What about a duel? " Obito asked
"Very well, and who volunteers to duel with the demon hunter? " Oyakata asked
"I volunteer. But before we duel, I would like to ask Uchiha some questions" Sanemi said
Obito found it strange that Sanemi called him by his last name, (little bit of head cannon coming up) but people from his world called each other by their first names in order to avoid fighting from rival clans when they're just merely walking by or kids. So it makes sense that doesn't apply here as it appears that clan wars aren't as prominent as they are in his world
"And what would those questions be? " Obito asked
"How did you phase through my sword before? " Sanemi asked
Obito began taking off his mask and showing his sharingan and pointing at it as he talks
"This is a sharingan, it gives me heightened reaction time and reflexes but it also has another ability, I call it Kamui, on basic terms, it essentially allows to phase through objects at will" Obito says
"And how did you get this sharingan? " Sanemi asked
"Well, whether you believe me or not, I'm from another universe" Obito says
Everyone was now in a state of confusion and shock
"Do you have dementia or something? " Sanemi asked
"No, I don't. My world is vastly different than yours, but it's where I came from and where these abilities come from" Obito said
"Ok then, don't really believe you. But seems to be the best we're gonna a get. Just don't use that Kamui thing in our duel" Sanemi said
"Sure" Obito said
Sanemi gets in a stance and readies his sword while Obito is only using his hands while everyone else backs away
"Not gonna use the shakujo? You really think you can beat me without it? " Sanemi said
"Confident enough" Obito said
"You may start your duel now" Oyakata said
"Wind breathing : first form- " Sanemi suddenly stopped
Obito with his insane speed, knocks Sanemi's sword out of his hand and has his left fist mere centimeters from Sanemi's face
Every Hashira watching gasps, except for Gitu, Gyomei, and Muichiro, who only has startled looks
"What happened? " Oyakata asked
"Obito moved incredibly fast and has defeated Sanemi in their duel" one of the twin said
"As you can see my swordsmen, Obito's skill is capable of becoming a Hashira and he also has the ambition to hunt down demons. Now I hope you can all accept him as a Hashira" Oyakata said
" I shall accept him as a Hashira and one of my friends, Oyakata-sama! " Kyojuro said
And everyone else soon followed and accepted Obito as one of their own
" And now, Obito Uchiha, I officially welcome you as the hunter pillar" Oyakata said
