Obito had done more missions ever since his first mission with Kyojuro
And has made friends with Tengen Uzui
And today was the day Tanjiro will be discharged from the butterfly mansion and be able to return to duty
Obito had done missions with every Hashira now and was able to become friends with every one of them except for Giyü and Sanemi
Obito becoming friends with Obanai was a surprise, I know, but Obanai's capability and efficiency for hunting demons was respected by Obito and vice versa and Obanai did not show any sour feelings towards Obito so they had gained a mutual respect towards each other
"Obito-san, I will be heading out today" Tanjiro said
"Ah, good luck Tanjiro. Where will your mission take place? " Obito asked
"I will be going to the Mugen train to rendezvous with the flame Hashira" Tanjiro said
"Ah, Kyojuro, he's a good man Tanjiro, his spirit may sometimes be a little too high for some but he'll be one of the nicest person you'll ever meet" Obito said
"I understand Obito-san, will be on my way now, goodbye" Tanjiro said
"Goodbye Tanjiro" Obito said
Obito shouldn't have a mission today so he went around the butterfly mansion doing whatever to pass the time
Later that day
"I'm ashamed as a Hashira. If there's a hole, I want to hide in it!" Kyojuro said as he sliced multiple tentacles
After that he broke one of the windows and got his Kasugai crow
"Call for the hunter Hashira for backup" Kyojuro said
So the kasugai crow went to the butterfly mansion in search of Obito
At the butterfly mansion
Obito wasn't tired just yet so he went up to the roof of the butterfly mansion, laid down and is currently looking at the moon
"I remember doing this when I was a kid, the difference is when I was a kid I was thinking about Rin" Obito said
That was when a Kasugai crow flew towards and landed on Obito's chest
"Caw caw, flame Hashira calls for back up at the Mugen train" the kasugai crow said
Obito got up and put on his mask
"Which direction?" Obito asked
"Caw caw, west, caw caw" the kasugai crow said
Obito immediately made a dash towards west going at max speed towards west as he didn't want to lose another friend
And eventually made it to the closed train station
But he didn't know which direction the train went
"Wood style : wood clone jutsu" Obito said
A wood clone of him was made and they both nodded
The clone went right and Obito went left
Both going at max speed and eventually Obito could see a crashed train in the distance and knew he was at the right place and cancelled the clone jutsu
Obito can see fire effects and with the mangekyo sharingan he could see Kyojuro having lost an eye having a fight with a demon that as he looked closely, he could see it was upper moon three
Obito immediately jumped in and kicked Akaza, upper moon three
"You're not wearing the demon slayers uniform, who are you?" Akaza said
"The hunter pillar. So you are an upper moon, come on, give me a taste of what you can bring" Obito said
Obito didn't want to immediately kill Akaza as he wants to ascertain the power that an upper moon has and so he got in a fighting stance
"Technique development destructive death: Compass needle" Akaza said
Compass needle allows Akaza to sense his opponents attacks, movements and abilities by tracking their will to fight which gives Akaza the upper hand in a fight
Akaza jumped forward by first throwing a jab that was parried then Akaza throws a left hook then a used his right leg to try and sweep Obito off of his feet so Obito jumps to evade it so Akaza jumps even higher than Obito
"Destructive death : air type" Akaza said
Obito using his mangekyo sharingan was able to see the shockwaves and promptly dodged to the far right when Akaza appeared in front of him and tried to axe kick Obito which Obito dodged and used the opportunity to punch the top of Akaza's left leg breaking it and in an instant the leg was healed and Akaza dashed at Obito this time throwing an uppercut at him
Throughout the time they were fighting they look like a blur to the onlookers
"My my, you are quite skilled in martial arts,quite impressive that you're able to keep up with me only using your hands" Akaza said
Obito decided not to say anything and kept on fighting
"Rengoku-san, there must be something we can do!" Tanjiro said
"There is no need, look at the sky, it's getting brighter by the minute, soon the sun will come out" Kyojuro said
Tanjiro realized this and prayed that Obito can hold out a few minutes longer
Akaza had also realized this and needed a way out soon
And he saw an opportunity
Akaza jumped high and quickly went back down but he didn't aim for Obito, he aimed for Kyojuro and the other demon slayers and soon landed
"Destructive death : blue silver chaotic after glow" Akaza said
A barrage of thin sharp shock waves get sent out and would surely kill Kyojuro, Tanjiro and his friends but Obito was able to react fast enough and used his truth seeking orbs to create a giant black wall that protected everyone but Akaza used this opportunity to run into the bamboo forest but Obito caught up and kicked Akaza back out and used an uppercut to send him flying into the air and kicked him in the abdomen while he was in the air but by this time the sun was already out and Akaza was burning and now
Upper moon three is no more
