On a warm breezy summer day stood Jeongin in front of his closet in dilemma, he had just taken a shower and was about to go out to meet his childhood friend. He looked at a sweater he had laid on his bed, "I think the weather's too hot to wear a sweater". He looked back at his closet as he got an idea. Jeongin grabbed his beige jeans and a black shirt. He quickly got dressed, tucking the shirt in his jeans and wearing his lensless glasses as he wore his crossbody bag with some white shoes.

Before leaving, he stopped by the kitchen to drink some water. "Mom! I'm leaving now!", the rushed boy shouted for his mom.
"Ok! have fun sweetie", she replied from the living room.

As Jeongin left the house he took out his phone as he pressed on his friend's contact to call him,
"Hey innie!"
"Channie hyung! So, I'm on my way right now but i kind of don't really know where your new house is so could you send the location?"
"Ok! sure I'll send it now"
"Ok, thank you!"
With that, the boy stopped a random taxi car to go to his friend's house.

Looking at his phone, a puzzled look filled his face. He looked at the apartment building in front of him then at the phone again, "Is this it?". He sent a text to his hyung and soon, he got a reply. "Ok, so his apartment is on the 3rd floor, and it's number 6". He scurried into the building and pressed on the elevator. The elevator door opened and as he was about to enter, he saw a familiar face inside. The face looked at him as he looked back, both wearing a startled expression on their faces. He hesitated but decided to quickly look away ignoring the man standing in front of him. But unluckily for him the latter didn't want to ignore him too, instead he spoke,
"Hello, how have you been..? I-I haven't seen you in so long.."

"Yeah..hi"

He entered the escalator and quickly pressed the button, disregarding the man as he walked past him. He kept looking down until the door closed. The moment the door closed, he sighed a sigh of relief as he slowly sank down, his knees getting weak as he hugged his legs, and tears started to pierce his eyes.
