SYNOPSIS 
Josefina Castillo always tried to do the best she could to make up for her mistakes, before Hurricane Tyler hit landfall in 2005, she was 15 only caring about getting through the day. Reality set in when she had lost her childhood best friend, Maria to untreated injuries.Josie wanted to do right by Maria by saving other people, She practically ended up getting married to her own job as an EMT in Los Angeles taking every shift she could, even graveyard, She has been an EMT for five years, she had every chance to become a paramedic but didn't want to be a firefighter, instead sticking what she knows best. 
When Josie get's so good at her own job, it's surprising when someone else end up doing it better then her, so much that it bothers her. She never had any issues with the 118, they were all doing the same job as her, she just had issues with their new paramedic, Eddie Diaz, and it's not the problem she would expect
