Kang Jihun, a 23-year-old from Seoul, took to Twitter to post a tweet that shared details of his relationship with Yuri. According to Kang, he and the worldwide star met when she went to his restaurant for dinner. He goes on to say that they started dating in the previous year but ended their relationship only a month ago, right before BTS made their big comeback.

He posted a couple of photos of them together, as well as an unseen photo of her. He has also posted screenshots of texts he says are with Yuri which show a violent tone from the 21-year-old singer's side.

According to his claims, Yuri is not as good as she is presented. He called her behaviour "bratty" and "selfish". Allegedly, the texts suggest that the Korean-Canadian singer is well aware of her 'idol' image and takes great pride in her fame.

The tweet quickly caught heat and some fans of the group were quick to turn against Yuri and are completely defending Jihun. The hashtag #KickYuri trended worldwide after the news broke out. They ask for Yuri to be removed from BTS permanently:

While loyal fans stick by the star's side and refuse to speak against her until there is clarity from her company:

BTS' label has yet to confirm or deny these allegations. There have been no words from the artist nor her fellow members or their company as they continue their promotion in the USA for their album as per schedule. The band appeared on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon only a few days ago and have a packed schedule ahead of them but fans are asking for an urgent response to the situation as online harassment for Yuri increases.
