Breaking: BigHit releases statement addressing BTS' Yuri dating rumours

BTS' Yuri has recently been under fire for dating rumours that are circulating the internet. They were started by a now deleted twitter account of a South Korean citizen by the name of Kang Jihun who claimed to have dated the K-idol from last year and into this one, saying they ended their relationship just before the group's big comeback.

According to this account and his several tweets, Yuri was the one to end the relationship due to 'being done' with him and finding herself superior to him due to her fame.

As the tweets gained traction and trended worldwide, neither Yuri nor her company put out any statements until today, two days after the tweets were published.

On October 1, BigHit Entertainment released this statement:

❝   Hello.
      This is BigHit Entertainment.

We put forward this statement on Yuri's behalf as a response to the recent rumours. Yuri was involved in a relationship and apologises for upsetting fans.
Please treat Yuri with respect and continue to support her as she finishes with promotion.

Thank you.   ❞

They have yet to make a comment on the allegations made against her.

user1 don't see why she needs to apologise for doing a normal thing like dating? why are they ignoring the bigger problem though? the person is calling her an ABUSER yet all bighit can talk about is the dating part of the rumours???

user2 sorry but you can't convince me that the yuri who walks her niece to the park in stroller with absolutely no security, in sweats and no makeup, hides her baby niece's face from the paparazzi and casually makes friends with other mothers in the park could ever use her fame as a power move.
