After sending off her letter Raven sat in the dining room next to Nyx for their evening meal, she notices Nyx has a sour look on her face.

"Nyx? Are you alright?" Raven asks curiously.

"I was just thinking..."

Raven waited for her to continue.

"It's about my father, he got to you too easily."

"That was my fault for going outside without anybody."

"Be that as it may, he still got onto my property and stole you far too easily and without setting off Erik's perimeter magic."

Raven looked uneasy at the mention of Ace. Nyx shook her head.

"Alright that settles it, we're moving, tomorrow." She states.

Raven stutters, "Mov-moving?! Where on earth are we going?."

"To my winter home, being winter and all, it's the perfect get away until I can deal with my father."

Raven had just got used to this large place, now she has to go to another place?

Nyx comforted her, "Don't worry, this place is much smaller and homier than this place. It's hidden in a magic pal so my father cannot follow, it was a gift from my mother."

Raven felt a little better about this information and took a sip of tea.

"I must do some things today so I might not see you till tomorrow..."

Raven frowned at this though, not wanting to be away from Nyx so long.

"Can't I come with you?" Raven asked sweetly.

Nyx smiled, "Not for the first errand, but afterwards, I don't see why not."

"Why not everything?" She questioned.

Nyx sighed, "Because I will be collecting a supply of blood for our trip to the castle and don't want you to see me hunt just yet."

"You don't scare me, you know that?"

Nyx smiled and grew out her fangs, "Not yet.." she said playfully and Raven just rolled her eyes.

"Very well, someday?"

"Yes, if you truly wish it." Nyx gave in.

Raven smiled and took another sip of tea, both of them finishing up their meal. Nyx dropped Raven off to the library afterwards while she and Erik went hunting.

After a few hours went by Raven had just finished her book when Nyx walked through the doors of the library. Their eyes met and they both sighed in relief, running into each other's arms, they could both agree that time apart was rough.

"Are you ready?" Nyx asked.

Raven nodded, "Yes! What are we doing?"

"Exercise and practice." Nyx said.

Raven scrunched up her nose and Nyx laughed out loud.

"My dear, whatever is that face for?" She asked.

"I was thinking you were doing something exciting."

Nyx chuckled, "I am using magic today if you'd like to see."

Hearing this, Raven got really excited, "Lead the way!"

Nyx chuckled again and linked arms with the girl, pulling her down hallways, to the first floor and finally to the basement. There was a large area made of wood with a ballet bar and a wall to wall mirror. On one side there were targets lined up but no weapons around.

"Where are the weapons for the targets?"

Nyx holds up her hand and a purple flame comes out and dances across her fingers but doesn't burn her. Raven looks on in fascination, remembering the smoke trick she had seen before.

"Excuse me while I go change." Nyx said sweetly and Raven watched her disappear behind a screen in the corner of the room.

The silhouette of Nyx showed her taking her dress off and placing another on. When she emerged from the screen, she had a large skirt that flared out and came to her knees, a simply draped corset and ballet slippers.

Raven watched in awe at Nyx body movement and watched while she stretched, doing simple things, a plie her a saute there. She sounds towards Raven and then offers her hand.

"Dance with me love~" Nyx said, her eyes alive and otherworldly.

"I don't dance much." Raven admitted.

Nyx still offered her hand and Raven took it, being pulled forward and onto the dance floor. They moved in sync to no music but Raven was having a wonderful time and so was Nyx. They finished the song and they were both breathing hard.

"Now time for the fun part." Nyx said, producing the flame and tossing it straight into the bullseye of a target.

Raven clapped, "Very good!" She yelled.

Raven watched as Nyx did this several times, some while doing tricks and some while running across the floor. By the end of the four Nyx had decided it was time for rest and bed, for tomorrow they left for the winter manor.
