PAIGE WAS SITTING IN JOSIES HANGING CHAIR, HELPING HER PACK HER CLOTHES FOR THE TRIP. "paige we leave thursday night and i only have one suitcase packed. this is a tragedy." josie sighed, folding up a shirt and throwing it in her bag. paige tucked a piece of hair behind her ear, laughing at the brunette. nika walked out from the closet, holding up a shirt. "you like this one?" she asked, mouthing a yes whenever josie nodded and took the shirt from her. getting josie to do something on time and not procrastinate was literally impossible. it started out with just nika and josie, but nika soon found out that she needed backup. like immediately. so that's how paige ended up giving josie a motivational speech while nika helped her match outfits. azzi walked in, looking up from her phone. "do you guys wanna order takeout?"
the other girls nodded, telling azzi what they want. "jos have you still not finished packing yet?" josie looked up, giving azzi the sink eye. "does it look like it?" azzi held her hands up, slowly walking out of the room. nika went back into josie's closet, looking at her shoes. "what shoes do you want?" she said, looking over the ones josie had out. "definitely comfortable ones, ain't nobody wanna hear her complaining." paige mumbled, flinching whenever josie threw a pillow at her. the brunette walked into the closet, putting a hand on her chin. "well i'm going to be in my uggs on the plane, then my converse for like style, and then let's do the grey shoes for walking." she nodded, leaning down to grab the converse that were laying by her feet.
"are you almost done yet?" nika groaned, throwing the shoes into the suitcase. she nodded, looking down at her phone. "yup! now i just need to pack up my makeup and my shower stuff." she smiled, responding to something hailey had texted her. paige drew her eyebrows down, trying to figure out who she's texting. she took a wild guess and was saying caitlin or kate, since they are in italy and they were going to be there in a few days. josie was wanting to go to LSU and suprise hailey for her birthday, so she was trying to work with geno to let her off the next two days. josie motioned for nika to go, holding the phone to her ear and sat down on her bed. paige adjusted herself in the chair, waiting to see who josie was talking too.
"coach, i'll be gone for two days. and i promise i'll put in the work while i'm there." josie was playing with a loose string on her blanket, nodding to something geno was talking about. they kept on going back and forth to one another, josie was starting to get frustrated but she kept her cool. paige watched in silence, waiting to hear what exactly she was up too. josie talked to geno for a few more minutes before she smiled, and started to thank coach over and over. "i guess it's time to pack another bag. this girl is going to LSU!" she smiled, hopping up out of bed and jumping up and down.
