The situation is turning for the worse. The JS Atago which should've been a game changing ship, was utterly defeated by one shot, killing both the Executive Officer and Commander Katabuchi Keishin. Making the JS Atago Commanderless
And Mazuhashi caught word that Keishin had died from the surviving crewmen of the bridge, he planned on going on to the JS Atago and Command it but also having to endure a loss of a friend
The JS Atago was pulled inside the bay by three Battleships
"The controls are now operable. Target those two floating things to our south." Mazuhashi ordered the crewmen
The JS Atago's Mark 26 launcher rotated and two RIM-66 Standard MR were launched
"Oh? Is our target fighting back now, is he?" Tester summoned three layers of shield barrier and managed to block all two RIM-66 missiles
"How about it's your turn to defend." Tester then pointed her hand and several enemy planes started targeting the JS Atago
*BBBRRRTTT!*
*BBBBBRRRRRTTTTT!!!!*
Tester was impressed that none of the planes she sent even reached the JS Atago "Oh my, it seems that the Empress is right how stubborn the target will be. Hehe~ so be it...."
Tester then moved herself to get a better position to target the JS Atago but she is met with the shipgirls that are defending the retreating JS Atago
And even more challenging for her is that the JS Atago is providing support with her MK 45 main gun equipped with proximity fuse rounds coming towards her
"Tch... It seems I can't get through these pests..." Tester murmured
"Are you having a hard time Tester?" Observer, seemingly out of nowhere said to Tester
"Are you going to help me? The Empress said that everyone should be helping." (Tester)
"I know, but it seems that we should not be poking the hornets nest all rashly as the target already entered the bay area of this island. So we must take a step back here, Tester." (Observer)
"Hmph.... Fine then... Have it your way." Tester backed away to the point the guns of the shipgirls are beyond the range they are supposed to be shooting
Meanwhile with Mazuhashi
The shipgirls manage to tugboat the JS Atago and now they have superior air defense and support
"Alright, I'll be leaving the rest of you all here to operate her. I also have a warehouse stockpiled with guns and ammunition so I need at least a full squad to go there and arm yourselves. You can use the vehicles parked in some areas here."
"The location isn't far from here so get going!" Mazuhashi said to the crewmen
"Hai!" The crewmen replied with
"Right, I'll be leaving and go to my office and establish contact if the connection has been connected. I'll be back if you guys are in trouble." Mazuhashi then left the damaged bridge and ran towards a motorbike and revved it up
