48|Last Minute Planning

After a busy two days it was now quali day. We were feeling confident about today because the car had been doing really well during the free practices. 

Right now we were all waiting and working between the few hours between practice and quali. I had worked hard on coming up with a few strategies that could work in quali in order to get the most out of the car. 

We now only had an hour till quali started and everyone was getting ready for it. I went to go find Charles for no reason at all. 

I found him in between the building doing some warm ups by himself. I look around to make sure that their was no one there and then proceeded to him. He took his headphones out of his ears and turned to me. "Hi amour" He said looking behind to make sure that there was no one their. 

"Hi" I said walking up to him and placing my arms around his neck. Out of habit his hands go down to my waist and held me close. 

I place a firm kiss on his lips. He leans into it for a moment before pulling back. "We have to be careful if we don't wanna get caught" He says taking a step back from me. 

I take a step forward to make up for the one he took back. "What if I want us to get caught?" I say raising an eyebrow and placing my hands on his chest looking up at him. "Are you saying what I think you're saying?" both his eyebrows raise now. 

"All I'm saying is that I'm tired of only being able to love my boyfriend in private and not everywhere so do what you want with that information" I rambled. 

"Wait let me get this straight are you saying that you want to go public right now or like soon after the break?" He inquires. 

"Yes Charles it means that I want to go public. I've been thinking ever since our conversation the other day on it and I think I want to do it before summer break." I say to him 

"That is if you want to do it if you don't want to then I'll wait till you're ready but I just wanted to let you know this because I came the realization not too long ago." I continue in a low voice. 

" Of course I want to do this. I want everyone to know that you're mine and that we love each other. Plus I also want to be able to do all this in front of everyone" He says as he showers me with kisses all over my face and then finally my lips. 

"So we decide that this weekend we'll tell the world about us" I say with my chin leaning on his chest, hugging him with my arms. "Yeah I guess so" I say. 

"I think after this weekend pretty much every girl is going to hate me" I mumble. "Don't worry about them you won't even seen any of them because we will be in Santorini just like you wanted."He mumbled in my hair. 

"Oh that reminds me you and me tonight, if you are not busy, then can we plan the trip?" I ask him. 

"I'm not planning on leaving my bed all night so yes we can." He says. "Amazing but I think that its almost time for you to get in the car so hurry up and finish here and we'll get going" He nodded. 

We stayed there for another five minutes and then headed back to the garage. I went over a few things about the track with Charles before he left to get into the car. I situated myself out on my chair on the pit wall and got my headset on. 

I pulled up the necessary programs on my computer and got everything up and running. Soon enough Charles was out of the pit and heading to the track alongside everyone else. 

Q1 was going smoothly and Charles easily made it into the top three times. In the end both Haas' one Alfa Romeo, one Alpha Tauri, and one Aston Martian were knocked out of Q2.
