Chandrika gathered Manyata and Raghavendra in the kitchen, announcing

Chandrika: Manyata, ab iss ghar ki bahu hai aur vo bhi badi bahu toh iss hisaab se aaj kitchen mein khana ghar ki nayi bahu banayegi.

Manyata nodded with a smile, but Chandrika added with a mischievous glint in her eyes

Chandrika: Lekin with a twist. Aaj yaha cooking competition hoga between Manyata and Raghav, aur hum sab decide karenge ki winner kaun hai.

Excitement filled the air, but Raghavendra's expression was anything but joyful.

He looked bewildered, his mind racing at the thought of having to cook.

His comical expressions were evident, causing Raghavi, Maithili, and Kush to stifle their laughter.

Protesting, Raghavendra said

Raghavendra: Lekin dadi, ghar ki bahu toh Manyata hai. Usse hi banane dijiye na, mujhe kyun involve kar rahi hai aap?

Chandrika: (shot him a firm look) Kyunki tu bhi taza taza Manyata ka pati bana hai. Issiliye khana tu bhi banayega.

Manyata, on the other hand, was delighted as she loved cooking.

Manyata: Okay dadi, lekin kya banau?

Chandrika: (replied affectionately) Beta, jo tujhe accha lage vo bana thik hai.

Quickly jumping in, Raghavendra suggested

Raghavendra: Dadi, aisa hai toh main coffee bana deta hoon. Kyunki mujhe coffee acchi lagti hai.

Chandrika: (shook her head, determined) Nahi, tu proper lunch banayega. Ruk, main menu likh ke deti hoon.

Raghavendra: (whined) Lekin it's not fair! Aapne Manyata ko toh liberty de di, mujhe kyun torture kar rahe ho?

Chandrika: (chuckled) Kyunki Manyata meri poti hai aur iss ghar ki lakshmi. Vo jo chahe vo kar sakti hai.

To which Raghavendra exclaimed

Raghavendra: Toh mujhe kya bartan bech ke kharida tha? Aur yeh lakshmi hai toh iss hisaab se main iska Vishnu hua na?

Chandrika: (corrected him with a smile) Nahi beta, tu insaan hi thik hai.

Laughter erupted in the kitchen at Raghavendra's shocked expression, as they prepared for the cooking competition ahead.

Manyata stood in the kitchen, wearing her apron and ready to cook, while Raghavendra paced back and forth, his siblings thoroughly enjoying his predicament.

Kush, holding a bottle gourd (Lauki) as if it were a microphone, commented

Kush: Kya lagta hai the great Raghavendra Shergill khaana bana payenge?
