Sitting at home on my day off, relaxing was the best feeling ever! Having to work with crazy people all the time is kind of hard but I'm used to the mental strain. Thinking back on it I've been here for 2 months, I've made great progress with Pamela and I don't think she deserves tone in there anymore but that's not my decision.
The next day..........
Today is Monday and I don't want to move! My bed will miss me so I decide to sleep in, but of course when I fully wake up I'm running late so here I am jumping around trying to get my stupid combat boots on! Almost slamming into a wall I finally get my shoe on, your probably wondering why is she wearing combat boots? Well because I want to! People at work know I just wear whatever I want so they don't say anything, if I come in wearing a dress one day then I'll come in wearing skinny jeans and a nice shirt the next, you can never tell with me and my moods.
Walking into work with my skinny jeans and band t-shirt plus my combat boots I hear people chuckle. Glancing at them i smirk
"What? I was in a band t-shirt mood!"
"Well we love guessing what your going to wear next so we don't mind you and your weird moods with outfits" I roll my eyes at Jane another doctor that I work with
"Gee Jane I'm hurt" everybody bursts out laughing and I glare at them
"I'm going to my office peace out losers"
I step into my office and close the door behind me, breathing in the scent of cherries I give a happy sigh, thank you candle. Glancing around my office that I redid a smile comes to my face, it doesn't look depressing anymore, which I'm happy about!
(I'm going to explain what I did with her office in a note that I'll post later!)
Sitting down in my chair I start my boring work finishing in hours I start to draw pictures of me and my team after that I just take a nap
"Hey!" I jump up from my chair and get into a fighting stance, looking around for danger I find none
"What are you doing?" I glance up when I hear Jane's voice
"I though something bad happened"
She rolls her eyes and pulls me out of my office towards the entrance of Arkham. When we get outside I breath in the air happy to be out of that depressing place
"Me and you are going for lunch"
"Sure"
After lunch.......
When we get back to Arkham I go back to my office and finish up anything that needed to be done but my thoughts drift elsewhere
"Hey haze!! You have to teach me some of your awesome ninja skills!"
Rolling my eyes at Hayes I chuckle as he starts acting like a ninja, a terrible one.
"I'll teach you some moves but you have to buy me food"
"Yeah I'll even take you to a buffet!! Just teach me! Pretty please!"
Snickering at his puppy dog eyes I nod which makes him start jumping around like a child. He picks me up from the ground and twirls me around
"Your the best haze! I can't wait to be a ninja!!"
"I know I'm awesome and I'm not a ninja" he ignores my comment and keeps twirling me around
Sighing I glare at him "dumbass"
"I heard that!"
Getting knocked out of my thoughts by my phone ringing I hurry and answer it
"Hello?"
"Haze!! I missed you, how have you been?"
"Oh Brucey! I've been good my job has been fun and the people here are cool"
"That sounds great, but I have a question"
"Hmm what is it?"
"Uh do you want to come by for dinner? I miss being with my cousin"
I chuckle and I can almost see him rolling his eyes "yeah I would like that"
Yay another chapter!! I'm sorry it's short it's kind of a filler chapter! But I hope it was okay😊
