I'm so sorry for being late. I got stuck in the middle of the chapter yesterday and ended up rewriting the whole thing which took a little bit longer than I expected. And the week was going so well with the chapters being on time (except for one which was a day late) -_- I wanted to finish the week with all the updates but the luck was against me. Well, at least it's today!

Hope you will like the chapter!

Enjoy!

The boys and all the other winners of the lottery have been on their way to Nezda'rah for 6 hours now and everyone was starting to get restless. It wasn't because they were left alone to wonder about their future. No, the aliens were quite attentive. Namha and three Nezda'rahians, who were part of the crew, attended to everyone's needs and at least one of them always stayed in the cabin in which the people were seated. They brought them food they got at Earth before they left, gave them enough water and other types of drinks – although there was no alcohol which would came in handy in a situation like this – and wondered through aisles answering question people threw at them randomly. It would look peaceful and almost as a normal flight to someone who wouldn't know what was happening in there. But to someone with sharp eyes and general knowledge about the situation people in this spaceship were in, it would look suspicious. The thing which made a lot of people nervous was the sudden change in speed and the sick feeling almost everyone got at that time. Captain Nist'Ahra assured them it was because they used one of the temporary Wormholes they created to get to their planet faster – it was supposedly direct path - but a lot of people didn't believe it. They were afraid aliens lied and they were now traveling at the speed of light.

You see, when the chosen ones got their winning email, there was a lot of useful information and a lot of explanations. One of the explanatory documents was about traveling and the ship itself. It explained in detail how the ship looks like, how it works, what type of speed aliens use and what effect it would have on humans. There was also a big paragraph assuring everyone that this ship was unable to travel at speed of light so everyone could stop worrying about coming back after one year and finding out that everyone they knew was dead and several decades passed by while they were traveling to and back from Nezda'rah. Their way of traveling was harmless, based on that document, because their ship had a special inbuilt technology which enabled it to create temporary wormholes so they could move faster through the outer space. The whole concept of it was interesting and many scientists were intrigued but it sounded extremely sci-fi like at the same time and many people were quite skeptical towards it. And that was one of the reasons why almost everyone on board a spaceship right now was nervous about this whole situation.

The four best friends were discussing the possibility as well but because they didn't know what it was like traveling at speed of life or through a wormhole they couldn't compare the two so they gave up after some time, all four of them scared but somehow reconciled with their situation for the moment.

It wasn't long after then that Corey realized another scary fact which made him extremely nervous. He looked around mindlessly, looking in every direction he could and his eyes widened more with each person he saw. He couldn't believe he didn't realize it earlier. It was probably because he was too occupied with freaking out from the whole traveling-to-the-alien-planet thing and he didn't care for anything else.

Looking around one last time he took a shaky deep breath and looked at his friends who were looking quite relaxed, two of them staring at the ceiling and Adam humming with closed eyes.
