"Beta Axel," my mate's father said, knocking on the door to my office. He stood at attention, looking so much like a Warrior in that moment. His face was a mask, and I couldn't help but wonder what he was thinking. "You wanted to see me?"

I looked up from my paperwork and nodded. "Yes," I said, standing. "Come in, please. Close the door as well." I gestured towards the door, looking at it before looking at him. "I think that we need to talk, privately."

Harrison frowned, confusion flickering on his face. He closed the door behind him, and I could understand why he was confused. "What is it, Beta?" he asked. "I thought that we kept the door open."

"I know about the policy," I replied, causing him to scowl. "But, I don't think that you want anyone hear what I am about to say." I gestured towards the chair in front of my desk. "Take a seat. I won't keep you long."

"Of course, Beta," he said, walking towards my desk. He stood in front of the chair and sat down when I sat down. "What is it that you wanted to talk to me about?" he asked, leaning back in his seat.

I licked my lips and cleared my throat, feeling rather uncomfortable. I had no idea what he would do when I told him, and I hoped that he would have an open mind. I had no idea why I found her so early, but I knew that it was for some reason. "Your daughter is... my mate," I said, finally.

The Lead Warrior raised an eyebrow. He didn't say a word, but I could tell that he was curious as to how I knew that she was my mate.

"I know that it sounds crazy," I said, "that I found my mate when she is only five years old, but it is true."

"I wasn't going to disagree with you, Beta," he said. "I found out that my mate was my mate when we were both five." He studied me before nodding his head. "Have you heard about the Nosac's bloodline?" he asked, leaning forward. He placed his hands on his knees and stared at me, my Wolf not getting mad.

I hesitated but nodded my head. I had heard of the legends over the Nosac bloodline, and I had no idea as to why he had brought it up. "What does that have to do with finding my mate when she is five years old?"

Harrison gestured towards the bookshelf on Patrick's side which was filled with old books that were passed down through generations. "May I, Beta?" he asked, causing me to nod. "The Nosac bloodline is one of the oldest bloodlines in the world," he said, standing and walking to the bookshelf. "The oldest bloodline in fact," he added.

I raised an eyebrow but didn't say a word. I watched as he pulled a book from the shelf and then pulled another book that was hidden behind a wall. "What the heck?" I asked, staring a the book in shock. "How..?"

"I needed a safe place for the book. Alpha Vander made sure that he would make a safe place for it if I moved here from my old pack," he replied. He flipped through the pages of the worn book, walking back over to me. "Somehow he knew that I was part of the Nosac bloodline amd told me that his pack was the one that was mentioned."

I furrowed my brows in confusion. I did not know that the Nosac bloodline existed and thought that it had died out like some of the other bloodlines. "Your last name Farrows," I said. "Legends said that the Nosac males were the strongest Warriors. That last name was passed down for generations until somehow it vanished."

"And, it did," he replied. "Legends, also, said that a child, a girl, from that bloodline would end the suffering between the clans and bring peace to all Supernatural beings. It, also, mentioned that the girl would become the queen and defeat the evil tyranny that holds the throne."

"King Hammond hadn't done anything wrong," I said, defending the king. I was angry that Harrison was talking about the king in such a manner. If he didn't like the king, then did he not like Parker?

Harrison gave me a pointed look, knowing what I was thinking. "King Hammond is just a puppet, a cover up for the main "king"," he said. He placed the book in front of me. "And, I swore to protect you and our Alpha when I came here. Alpha Parker had been nothing but kind to my family and his pack, and he is a great leader."

I looked at him, frowning before looking at the book. The page showed the bloodline of the Nosac family and where it changed to the last name, Farrows. "Nathaniel Gage Farrows," I said. "1680-1790."

"My great-great-great-great grandfather," he said. "His father was killed in a raid that was constructed by the king himself." He touched the name, a thoughtful look in his eyes. "I am a strong Warrior because it was my duty to protect the next queen. She was chosen by the Moon Goddess herself."

I bit back a snort and rolled my eyes. "She is a myth," I said, somehow doubting my own words. "A legend."

Harrison smirked. "So, is the Nosac bloodline," he said. He tapped the names in the book. "But, this is proof that they are still real and alive today, and so is she."

"This isn't working," I heard Parker say when he came into the office where both Lizzie and I were coloring. "I thought you were supposed to be working, Axel."

It had been an hour after the meeting, and Harrison was allowing me babysit Lizzie whenever I wanted to.

He knew that I had questions about everything but knew that I needed to think it through it first. He had dumped a lot of information on me and the book had more information which he was allowing me to read.

Lizzie stood up instantly and bowed her head, submitting to him. "Alpha," she said, causing Parker to raise an eyebrow. She was standing at attention with her hands behind her back. Her eyes were lowered to the floor, so she couldn't see him raising an eyebrow.

Parker knelt down in front of her, smiling. "You don't have to submit," he said, softly. He lifted her chin so that she was looking him in the eyes and not on the ground. "I want to be your best friend. How does that sound?"

Lizzie furrowed her brows in confusion. "But, Axie already said that he was my best friend," she said, causing my heart be filled with pride. "You can't have two best friends... can you?"

"Then I'll be your bestest friend," he said, letting go of my mate. He smirked at me when I growled. "Deal?"

Lizzie shook her head, setting her jaw stubbornly. "Axie is my best friend. If you want to be my best friend, then he is my bestest friend."

Pride filled my body as she said that. A smile flickered onto my lips as my Wolf purred in happiness. She didn't know this, but she was accepting me as her mate, and I couldn't help but be proud.

"Then at least call me Parker," he said. 'She is so cute,' he linked me, causing me to nod. "If you want to call me Alpha, you can call me Alpha in your daddy's presence. I am sure he is the one who told you to do that?"

Lizzie nodded her head and smiled. "Ok, Parker," she said, smiling.

Parker winced and placed a hand in his heart as if in pain. "What? No nickname for me?"

Lizzie shook her head and giggled. "Only bestest friends gets nicknames," she sair, sticking her tongue out at her Alpha.

Parker stuck his tongue out at her. "Fine, you don't get ice cream," he said. He glanced at me, ignoring her wide eyes. "Want some ice cream?"

I nodded my head and stood from my seated position. "Yes, please," I said. "Let's go get some ice cream." I started to walk towards the door as Parker stood. "Because he is, my bestest friend."

There was rhus weight on my leg when I was almost to the door. Lizzie was clinging to my leg, whining. "No," she said. "I want ice cream. I LOVE ice cream."
