Chapter 4: Fondness

  (Mars POV)  

I pulled away from my mates who were still sniffing me and taking in my scent like it was the best thing they had ever smelled, now that I think about it with the mate pull it probably was the best thing they have smelled.

My mates looked at me with a mix of concern and caution as I pulled away, they must think they hurt my wounds. No I just want some clothes on, seeing as I am still in nothing but a pair of black boxers and bandages, while my chest was covered I would still like to have some decency.

I pulled the notepad they had given me up to my face and quickly scribbled a sentence down on it, 'While this is nice I need some clothes please.' I held the note up to Asphra and Esphra and awaited their response.

Asphra looked between me and Esphra for a second before speaking, "I'll go grab you something dear, just stay here for a moment."

I quickly nodded a thank you and Asphra made her way from the lounge and back up the stairs I had come down from.

Shifting in Esphra's arms I turned to look up at her face and met her gaze, I do not know what overcame me but I reached up and started tracing her face with my hand, my mates were beautiful.

She gave me a slight smile placed her hand over mine and leaned into my hand that rested on her face affectionately, I blushed at that.

A cough from behind me made me jump slightly and I turned to see Asphra behind us with a oversized sleeveless white shirt in her hands.

"I thought this would do for now, given your bandages I thought that this would be practical." She explained while holding the shirt out to me.

I slid out of Esphra's embrace and took the shirt from Asphra with a thankful nod and slipped it over my body, it came down to just below my knees and was loose which was indeed preferable with my bandages.

Asphra sat back down beside Esphra, first problem, I need to show equal affection to both of them, I do not want any jealous disputes.

So I moved to Asphra and moved into her lap while she circled her arms around me carefully. I looked as Esphra for a moment to see if she was okay with this to which she gave me a slight nod with a smile, clearly they understood they would have to share me.

With that I rested my head against Asphra's chest and relaxed in my mates embrace. It felt a little bit odd to be honest, it made me feel a foreign warmth flood through my chest.

I still had the notepad in my hands and scribbled down a quick sentence for my mates. 'Where am I specifically?' I showed both my mates the note before Esphra spoke up first.

"Your in the Vollmond Pack Lands." Esphra explained softly while leaning over and stroking my hair softly, making me lean into her hand as a sign of affection.

Vollmond was German but Since I only know the English language I had no idea what it meant, so I quickly wrote down on my notepad another question.

'Vollmond?' My mates looked at me for a second before Asphra spoke up, "It is German for full moon."

That makes sense, it is true that we are more connected to our wolves on full moons.

I nodded in understanding to my mates and Looked up at Asphra who was held a clam smile on her face as she met my gaze, like she was content with life.

It made me feel a strange sense joy to see my mates happy, I know this new page in my life will take some time to adjust to but I also know that it will be worth it to be with my mates.

"You've been asleep for three days since we found you darling, we should get you some food." Esphra spoke up, bringing attention to the hunger I had ignored since I awoke.

I nodded to Esphra and she stood up and I was about to follow her but as I was shuffling off of Asphra she scooped me up in her arms bridal style and carried me after her sister.

I looked up at her in protest but the look she gave me and the smile her face held told me she wanted to baby me, screw it, if my mates want to do sweet things like carry me then I won't stop them. If anything it is kind of cute.

We entered the houses kitchen and Asphra pulled out a tall white stool and placed me on it.

"So do you have a preference for food?" Asphra asked leaning on the island beside me and I quickly jotted down my reply on my notepad.

'No I am fine with pretty much anything." 

Both Asphra and Esphra nodded at my sentence and ratted through the kitchen and Esphra pulled a plate of cold sausages out of the fridge.

"Are these okay?" Esphra asked me holding the plate up, I nodded happily at the offer. Meat was not something I got to eat a lot of in the wilderness as a rouge, apart from poor critters that crossed Artemis.

Esphra handed me a plate with plenty of sausages on it and I did not hesitate to start scoffing them down. Table manners aren't something I'm particularly familiar with, I may need to work on those.

"Little mates got an appetite." Asphra muttered seemingly amused by the sight of me and my small frame gorging on a meal far larger than would normally be fitting of someone my size.

I gave her a little smile before returning to my meal and smashing down what was left. I pushed the plate back and nodded thanks to the sisters.

I was about to hop off of the stool when Asphra picked me up bridal style again and carried me off while Esphra put my plate in the sink and followed Asphra and I back to the lounge room.

We all sat back down on the couch and feeling more and more comfortable with my mates I laid myself across Asphra and rested my head in Esphra's lap.

Shutting my eyes I laid across my mates peacefully and soon I felt  a gentle hand run through my hair and soon I was lulled to sleep in my mates embrace with a content smile on my face.

Perhaps this wouldn't be so bad. my mates were are so far being really sweet with me and it gives me hope that things will work out here, for all three of us.
