Alpha Axel's Luna

Chapter Seventeen

The next day the Davenport pack was packing up getting ready to head home but Sutton could see Brendan was conflicted " whats a matter" she asked

 " I still feel the pull to be here and I don't know why like im fighting myself at the moment to leave because I feel the need desperately to stay" he explained leaving Sutton confused as he had met all the she wolves here and none was his mate and the war was over

 " well how about this to sooth your wolf go home and in a week or two if the pull isn't gone come back and well figure it out " Brendan shook his head " Im going to have to do that my pack needs their Alpha back Iv got a few young pups causing issues at their school" Sutton hugged them bye as Axel approached saying his goodbyes. 

The two stood as their vehicles disappeared " your an amazing Luna you know that " Axel told her wrapping his arm around her waist " im not just any Luna" Sutton responded " Im Alpha Axel's Luna" she kissed him then they made their way back to their house

 " I talked to Lacy she'll be home in a week" Sutton squealed happily. Then it dawned on her " I think I know the reason for the pull Brendan was having" Sutton explained as she was pulling out things to make pancakes something she desperately was wanting 

" what's that ?" Axel asked curious himself " I think Lacy's his mate" Axel all but spat out the cup of coffee he was drinking "and here I thought I was gonna feel sorry for Lacy but I actually like Brendan " Sutton laughed enjoying the simple moments she could have with Axel.

After breakfast Axel took off to the hospital to check on his wounded warriors while Sutton took off to the pack house to be a helping hand to the cooks and anyone else there that might need her. Before she could make it their though a group of pups ran up to her " Luna will you play with us?" a little girl no older than five tugged on her shirt giving her puppy dog eyes, Sutton looked up at their teacher and could tell she was exhausted she smiled down at the girl " of course little one" and thats where Axel found her two hours later playing tag with the pups. 

Sutton could feel eyes staring at her as she ran around and played tag for the fifth time by the tingles running through her body she knew it was Axel. She stopped and looked up he was standing against the porch railing on the pack house with his arms and legs crossed and a smirk painted on his face walking up the steps to him his smirk grew

 " Hi" she whispered as he stepped away from the railing and placing his hands on her waist drawing her too him " Hi" he whispered " why were you staring at me ?" she curiously asked causing Axel to chuckle " promise you won't kill me?" he asked trying to pretend to be scared. Sutton huffed shook her head " Your so good with them just imagine how your going be with our pups one day" Sutton shook her head again smiling, she hadn't thought about having kids really but she knew that one day she would want them she just wanted to take one day at a time " Let's get this wedding over with first" Axel laughed " deal doesn't mean we can't practice" Axel then threw her over his shoulder and carried her to their house as she was kicking and screaming to be let down.

Two Weeks Later.....

It had been two weeks since they went to war since the time things around the pack had been quite Lacy arrived back home at the ending of the first week spent the entire night telling Sutton about her trip much to Axel's displeasure as she didn't come to bed until five am they choose not to mention anything to Lacy as Brendan still hadn't returned due to some issues with some pups in his pack. The wolves wounded in the war soon healed and was able to return to their families as they held memorials for the ones who didn't make it home, Ava and Macy recovered and was forever grateful to their mates for saving their lives, they were adjusting well to their new pack. Lacy had been bugging Sutton for days to start wedding planning and seeing as Axel was busy the whole day Sutton decided to give in letting Lacy come over, they we're currently spread out in the living room floor with magazines, lap tops, notebooks and snacks everywhere. So far they decided the wedding would be held in the garden area of the pack house as Sutton asked Lacy to be her maid of honor and seeing as she had gotten close to Ava and Macy the last few weeks she was going to ask them to be her braids maids, Axel had already informed her that he was asking Seth to be his best man and Asher and Brendan to be his grooms men so it worked perfectly. They we're currently looking at dresses as there was a dress shop in town that Sutton would order the dresses to, to be tried on and altered if need be. Six hours in Sutton finally set her notebook down

 " Lacy I need a break!" she exclaimed purely exhausted of looking at her computer screen 

" That's okay Ava just linked me telling me Seth is looking for me we can continue tomorrow" Lacy then helped Sutton clean up the mess and made her departure.

Axel was still busy and Sutton needed to let her wolf out stripping down by the back door Sutton shifted into her wolf shaking out her fur she took off into the woods 

" Don't go far" Axel's voice drifted into her mind clearly feeling her shift , pushing herself faster she made to the stream in no time plopping down on her hind legs she took a drank. Her peace only lasted so long when she heard a twig snap behind her turning around instantly she seen nothing but a few birds sensing no danger she began to turn back to the stream when another twig snapped this time jumping around in a fighting stance growling into the empty Forrest warning who ever the intruder was that they were messing with the wrong Luna but again she found nothing.Letting her hearing be her main focus so no longer heard anymore snaps deciding not to test fate she took off back home making it in record time she shifted back and pulled her clothes back on.

Purely exhausted  from her run Sutton headed up stairs to take a nap it was becoming evening and Axel informed her he would be home late but just like her run the peace and rest was short lived when Sutton was suddenly awaken with a sharp pain to her stomach making her instantly race to the bathroom emptying her stomach into the toilet sitting back she instantly jumped up when another round of nausea ran through her body yet again making her empty her stomach into the toilet. Just then the front door slammed open then shut as footsteps are heard coming up stairs sensing Axel Sutton relaxed as he entered the bathroom.

"  Baby whats wrong I felt that you were just asleep and then suddenly felt you we're distressed I instantly rushed home afraid for the worse" Axel explained as he rubbed soothing circles into Sutton's back 

" I was fine before I went to sleep just exhausted and then I woke up with a horrible stomach ache and now here we are, I think I could have food poisoning " not feeling like she was going to be sick again she got off the floor to rinse her mouth and brush her teeth as Axel headed to the kitchen but quickly returned with a glass of water setting it on her bed side table as she crawled into bed. 

" Im done with my work for tonight your more important" Axel said climbing into bed pulling Sutton to his chest as she was finally able to fall into a peaceful sleep with no more sickness. That was until around 6 am when she was awoken again running straight for the bathroom and like a good mate Axel was right behind her holding her hair rubbing soothing circles in her back and whispering comforting words to her. 

" Baby are you sure you don't need me to call doc Im getting a little worried" he asked as she was brushing her teeth for a second time.

" No Im fine Ax it's just food poisoning ill be better tomorrow" she reasurred him 

Axel made sure Sutton was resting peacefully and comfortable before he allowed himself to fall asleep again once her breathing evened out indicating she was asleep he pulled her closure drifting off as well.
