Chapter 25: Worried

Chapter 25

Labis ang pagkabahala ni Kaiser ng dumating siya at nalaman na wala sa bahay ang asawa. Napag-alaman niya sa mayordoma na umalis ito papuntang bahay nila. Agad siyang umalis saka planong sunduin ito sa bahay ng mga magulang niya.

Why does she has to go there alone? She could've wait for me. Puno ng pangamba na katanungan ni Kaiser. Ngunit mas nabalot ng pangamba ang puso niya ng malaman na kanina pang naka-alis ito matapos makipag-sagutan sa ina at kapatid nito. And it's already 6pm.

The maids told her that after his wife took the key of their ancestral house at Batangas, she drove away. he can't think of anyone to call because his in-laws is not around. So he called his wife's friend.

While on the phone, he drove back to their house. hoping that his wife will be there.

"Hello, Allison. I'm sorry for calling. But, Is my wife with you?"

"No..  She's not here. Actually I've been calling her since this afternoon but, she's not answering the phone. I thought she's on a day-off?" Sagot ni Allison.

"She was supposed to be."

"Wait..  Did something happened? Where is Mich? What happened? Is there anything wrong?"

"The maids told me that she goes to her parents house this afternoon. But, she's not home yet. I'm worried where she might be."

"What?? Why would she go there when she've had a fight with her parents?"

"I'll drop the call first. I'm almost home. Thank you."

"Please call me back if she's there. Please do."

Kaiser tried calling his wife but to no avail. Only the voice mail.

Now her phone has been turned off. Where are you wife?  Hindi mapigilan ni Kaiser itanong sa sarili. Pagkaparking niya,  bumaba agad siya ng hindi pa naiisara ang driver's seat. Sinalubong siya ng kanilang mayordoma.

"Kaiser, Iho..  Nagkita na ba kayo ng asawa mo?"

"Is she still not home? Damn! Where is my wife?" gustuhin man niyang kumalma, hindi niya magawa dahil sa kaba.

"Nakuu..  Subukan mo lang tawagan iho..  Baka naman natraffic lang sa daan." pati na ang matanda ay nag-aalala na rin.

"I've been calling her many times. It's only ringing. Now it's turned off."

Saka naman nag-ring ang phone ni Kaiser at tumatawag si Allison.

"Anjan na ba siya? Nakarating na ba?"

"No..  She's not here, I might need my friends help. I'll talk to them to help me find my wife."

"Wait.. Wait..  Wait.."
Pigil ni Allison sa pagputol ni Kaiser the tawag.

"Yes? What is it? Is she there?"

"No..  I'll send you an address. Try going there first. Base on the maids here, Mich took with her the key to their ancestral house at Batangas. Kung may nangyari man dito.. I'm pretty sure doon ang punta niya. Is that okay? Susunod na lang kami ni Alex."

"Okay..  I'll do that. But, where are you?"

"I'm here at Mich's old house. Nakausap na namin ang mga maids dito, and we squeeze some information to them. And according to them, your wife had a big fight with them."nagaalalang paliwanag ni Allison. Naririnig ni Kaiser sa kabilang linya si Alex na pinapababa na ang phone para maisend na ang address.
