"So... I'm your soulmate?" Michelle carefully asked. Being left alone with your supposedly soulmate was more awkward than she would have thought.

"Yes. I'm sorry that all this has been dumped on you like that. It's just that you were going to be leaving and I couldn't let that happen." Silva responded. Before he could continue rambling Michelle interrupted "because that would hurt you, right?" "Yes, again, I'm sorry all this happened to you." Looking up at her, Saul decided to ask a question he was dying to ask her since she first stepped into the office. "Could I maybe come sit next to you and hold your hand?" Feeling a blush rising on her face after being asked that question by the handsome man in front of her, she carefully nodded her head.

Silva slowly rose from his seat, sat next to his love and gently grabbed a hold of her hands. The feeling he got was pure bliss. Touching your soulmate was something amazing, he never wanted to let go of her.

Even Michelle had to admit that she felt butterflies and sparks, no scratch that, the whole zoo and sparks with him that close to her.

"So where do we go from here?" Michelle asked him. Silva turned towards her and looked her in her eyes: "We can go as slow as you want. I just want you to be happy. As long as you are happy, I'm happy. Please remember that." "But I can't leave?" "Not without me joining you. Since you are not from this world, it wouldn't hurt you as much as it would me but it will still hurt." "When would you be able to join me?" He couldn't believe his ears. Was she really accepting it so easily? "Hopefully very soon. The issue is that there is a threat out here and I'm in the team to neutralize it. Until the threat is completely gone I'm afraid I can't go with you." "What's the threat?" "There are these things called Burned Ones. If they touch you, you will get infected and die if the Burned One isn't killed. There have been a couple of sightings of them around the school so we keep a close eye on that for the safety of the students." "Are there Burned Ones in California?" "No there aren't"

Michelle suddenly took her hand back from Silva's grasp and stood up. "Wait, love, what are you doing?" Silva asked surprised. "I'm getting the hell out of here and I'm taking Bloom with me. You might say that I'm important to you but no one's more important to me than Bloom. She's in danger while she's here so I'm taking her the fuck back to California."
