A SERIES OF pants left Irina's mouth as she finally snapped back to reality. Steve wrapped his arm around her shoulders and pulled her into his chest.

"Jesus Christ, Irina, what the hell happened?" Steve gasped.

"I don't-I don't know. It was s-so real, I don't...it was like... " Irina stuttered.

"What was real, Irina? What happened?" Max questioned. Irina was silent for a moment before she stood up from her chair and gestures for everyone to follow her. She stopped at the wall where she'd seen the grandfather clock and furrowed her brows.

"It was here." Irina said. "Th-there was a grandfather clock, and it was, l-like, crushed into the wall. A-and I looked at it while it was ticking and th-that's when I woke up." She explained just as Robin and Nancy made their way to them.

"It was like she was in some sort of trance. It's exactly what Eddie said happened to Chrissy." Dustin told them.

"That's not even the bad part." Irina said. She'd pieced it together by now. She was going to die. "Both Chrissy and Fred started having headaches, then nightmares, they'd wake up in a cold sweat, and then the visions started. They'd get worse and worse and worse until... until everything ended. Chrissy's started seven days ago. Fred's six days ago. I've been having them for five days." She explained.

"Vecna's curse." Robin said. Steve let out a shaky breath and rubbed his hands over his face in utter shock and disbelief.

"I don't know how long I have left. All I know is... is that Fred and Chrissy both died less than twenty-four hours after their first vision. And I just saw that goddamn clock, so... looks like I'm going to die tomorrow." Irina sniffled, wiping her eyes.

"Stop." Steve muttered. "Please, stop talking." He breathed out. The pain was evident in his voice. He tightly wrapped both of his arms around Irina and she snivelled into his chest, thinking that she had less than twenty-four hours left with him. Of course. Of course this had to happen to her when she was finally happy with Steve. It couldn't have happened back when she was in the Russian base when she felt like she had no one. When she felt like she would be better off not in the world anymore. But as soon as she found her person, that's when her life was coming to an end. But just then, there was a noise in the corridor that made everyone jump.

"Everyone, stay here." Steve said, reluctantly releasing himself from Irina's grip and grabbing a metal stand before exiting the room. No one stayed in place though. They all followed him out. Footsteps were echoing down the corridor and a person sped around the corner, almost running into everyone.
