~Seven~

Author's POV

After the dinner all went to sleep except Mrunali. Sleep was far away from her eyes so she decided to sit on the terrace for sometime. She was looking at the night sky full of stars with a smile on her face.

"Di! What are you doing here alone? It's literally midnight." Her thoughts were broken by her brother Suyash. "Yash! Nothing. I just couldn't sleep." Mrunali said. "Aap abhi so nahi rahe ho aur kal subah uthoge nahi." Suyash said as he sit beside her sister. "Chup kar! Uth jaungi main." Mrunali said and Suyash laughed.

(You're not sleeping now and will not wake up tomorrow.)
(Shut up! I'll wake up.)

"What are you thinking?" Suyash asked wrapping his arm around his sister. "Nothing just thinking about the day dadu asked me for this proposal." Mrunali replied leaning on Suyash's shoulder. "Well I think dadu and dadi made a good decision." Suyash said.

"And why do you think so? Want to get ride of me?" Mrunali playfully asked. "Of course not! Mera bas chale toh zindagi bhar aapko aapne pass rakhu lekin kya kar sakte hai jaha hum rehte hai vaha main aapko ek second na rehne du zindagi toh dur ki baat hai." Suyash said and Mrunali looked at him emotionally.

(If I can I would've keep you with me forever but what can I do, I will never let you live one second where we live and forever is very far.)

"Main sahi mein bahut khush hu di ki aap ki shaadi Abhi bhai se ho rahi hai. Unse aacha sayad hee koi aur hota aapke liye. Aur unki family bhi bahut aachi hai. They're the kind of family you deserve." Suyash said. Mrunali smiled and hugged him. "Ab kya vidai se pehle hee rulayega?" Mrunali said as both chuckled.

(I'm really happy di that you're getting married to Abhi. I don't think there will be someone better than him for you. And his family is also very nice.)
(Now will you make me cry before the vidai?)

"I'll miss you yarr di!" Suyash said and Mrunali couldn't control as she cried. "I'll miss you too." Mrunali said as both brother and sister hugged each other. After their little emotional session they both finally went to sleep.

Next Morning

Today is the haldi. The last function before the wedding. The whole palace is decorated with yellow flowers and other decors. Guests and families are also wearing yellow outfits. Both the families are already present and it's time for the bride and groom entry.

"Please welcome our cute soon to be couple Mrunali and Abhiraaj." Naina said as all cheered. Mrunali and Abhiraaj entered through the beautiful entrance together. Mrunali's hand was on Abhiraaj's hand as they went to the place where they will sit.

Mrunali was in beautiful yellow and pink outfit with rose flower jewellery. Abhiraaj was in simple yellow kurta with white pants looking dashing and handsome as always.Abhiraaj first made Mrunali sit on he place and then sat on his.

We both entered together with her hand on mine which give me sparks. She was looking so beautiful in her yellow and pink outfit. She was adorned with rose jewellery which was making her more beautiful. After making her sit on the place designated for her I sat on mine.

I then saw her three friends coming towards her. "So are you ready for haldi Mrunali?" Sana asked with a teasing smile as they laughed. "Haha. Don't forget you will get married one day as well." She said with a very sweet sarcastic smile and I chuckled quietly.

"Usme toh abhi bahut time hai. Pehle toh teri ho rahi hai!" Niya said. "Kuch kar ke toh dikhao and I'll make sure you'll see hell on earth!" She threatened cutely and I raise my eyebrows in amusement. Suddenly her confident eyes met mine and they become shy as she looked down and I smirked.
