Falling For You

~Twenty Three~

As I entered the office everyone greeted me with a warm smile and congratulated me for my wedding. I thanked all of them and went to my boss' cabin to inform him about my joining.

I knocked on his door and heard a small 'come in'. Opening the door I entered inside to see my boss sitting on his chair. He is not old. He is near my age which makes him young.

"Oh Mrunali you're back! Good to see you and congratulations on your marriage." I get out of my trance with my boss Mr. Khanna's voice. "Thanks Mr. Khanna. And I'm here to inform you that I'll be joining the work from today onwards." I said.

"That's great! The big project will be coming soon and we really needed your help." Mr. Khanna said sighing in relief making me chuckle. "No problem sir! I'll be on it." I said. "Great. You can start working then." Mr. Khanna said and I leave.

I then went to mine and Sana's shared cabin and opened the door to see her focused on her drawing. So, without making noise I quietly went to her and closed her from behind.

"Who the hell is this?! Can't you see I'm busy?!" Sana said and I laughed before removing my hands. "Oh my God! Mrunali it's you! You idiot!" Sana said and hugged me. "You're the idiot you didn't even heard me coming. Fool." I said and she rolled her eyes.

"Leave that. How are you? And how's everyone? And how was Rome? You're ok right? No problem? " Sana asked in one breath. "Calm down will you? And yes I'm fine, everyone's fine. And Rome was totally amazing!" I said. "Great! I missed you so much here you know." Sana said and again hugged me.

"I missed you guys too. And that is why I took permission from maa so that after work we can hang out. Suyash too." I said and she squealed. "That's amazing! Let me call the other two." Sana said and I nodded. I also informed Suyash who said he will pick us after work.

After Sana informed Niya and Naina I asked her about the current events of the office and she told me that a big project is coming soon because of which the whole company is on edge. Especially the boss. Might be some big project then. So without more time we started working too.

At lunch me and Sana sat on our usual table with some other colleagues and they asked me about my marriage and all. In between I also texted him to ask whether he ate his lunch or not to which he replied with a 'yes' and even asked about me making me smile and causing Sana to tease me.

Then the lunch was over and we went back to working. We have to make designs which needs to be approved by the our company's upper bodies before presenting in front of our clients.

Me and Sana are the head designers and so far we've made many designs. I'm glad I made some designs at home in my free time as well. By the time the clock hits six we were ready to leave. Suyash was already outside when we went out of the company making me grin widely.

I hugged him tightly and he hugged back before kissing my forehead. "How are you di?" Suyash asked. "I'm very very fine! How about you? And Gurmeet? And dadu-dadi?" I asked. "Everyone's fine di. Just missing you and your tasty food." Suyash and I chuckled.

"Then come home some day I'll make you whatever you want!" I said. "We will see. First let's go and talk for sometime." Suyash said. "Exactly! Naina and Niya are already there." Sana said and sitting inside the car we three leave for the cafe we usually go.

Arriving there I excitedly get off the car to meet my two other besties. I entered saw them sitting near the window. They saw me too and squealing come to me and we three hugged. Other people watched us like we are crazy but we didn't mind.

"I missed you guys!" I said pulling out of the hug. "We missed you too!" Niya said. "How are you?" Naina asked. "I'm perfectly fine! How are you two?" I asked. "We are fine too!" Naina said as we took our seats.
