I woke up as usual with the sun shining brightly on my face. Rubbing my eyes I tried to sit only to get hands tightened around my waist. I turn to see Abhi's face in my neck as he holds me tight in his arms.
I was about to cuddle him more when I saw the time. Oh no! I'm late again. "Abhi! Wake up. It's 9:30! I've to prepare for Bhai duj." I said trying to get away from his grip but he only tightened his hold. "Just sleep and let me sleep as well. We slept late last night remember?" Abhi said and I frowned.
"It was only because of you! Now leave me." I said and again try to leave. "Why because of me?" He asked now looking at me with raised eyebrows. "Uh-huh! You were the only one who have to go for four rounds like are you serious? I'm more tired than you but I've to go prepare for bhai duj!" By the time I completed he was smirking.
"What can I do baby? You're so sexy that I'm not able to control myself." He said and my eyes widen. "You! Shameless person. Leave me!" I said and tried to get out his grip. "Offo! What shameless? I'm talking about my wife only!" With that said he picks me up and take me to the bathroom.
He placed me on the sink before filling the tub with water and after checking the water he put me inside before getting in behind me as well. I lean on his chest as he caressed my hair. After freshening up I hurriedly went to the closet and take out my outfit.
I changed into the simple yet beautiful and elegant white saree with sleeveless blouse and styled my hair before wearing my jewelleries and doing a light make up. Giving myself a once over and telling Abhi to get ready quickly I went downstairs.

I went downstairs and saw everyone present making me curse myself internally. "You're finally up? I thought you will get up after lunch only." Bua ji said and I looked down. "Sorry bua ji." I said. "What will your sorry do? Both your mother-in-law and chotti maa are working since morning and here you are." Bua ji said.
"It's ok didi. Sometimes it's ok to wake up. Don't worry." Maa said giving me a reassuring smile. "No it's not ok. If you will let it go everytime she will dance on your head Amrita! The more you will be lenient with daughter-in-laws the more they will try to take over you." Bua ji said.
"It's nothing like that didi. Mrunali is not like that." Chotti maa said. "That you'll be see in the near future. And you! Go and look at the arrangements that are left." Bua ji said to me and I immediately went from there. My eyes filled with tears. I'm not like how bua ji said.
I was looking at the arrangements while trying to stop my tears when maa and chotti maa came along with bhabhi, Khushi and Nikhil. "Mrunali beta don't take didi's words to your heart. She always taunt everyone." Maa said. "Yeah. So don't mind what she says." Chotti maa said.
"I'm really not like that." I said in quiet voice. "We know beta. Of course we know. Nor you nor Mihika are like that." Maa said patting my head and I hugged her while my tears fall. "Offo! What's there to cry? It's ok." Chotti maa said but I didn't let maa go.
