Falling For You

~Fourteen~

Third Person's POV

The evening of the reception finally came. All the guests have arrived and busied themselves in the talks. The newly married couple is yet to arrive. The elder Rathores are already at the venue while the younger ones are at home.

At home also everyone were waiting for the couple to come down. "Offo! When will they come?" Khushi said. "It's ok. Have paitence Khushi. It's their day afterall." Mihika said. "Still bhabhi! I really want to see how they are looking!" Khushi said and Mihika laughed.

"Why do you wanna see them? Go see yourself first. You're looking like a clown without a red nose." Nikhil teased. "Nikhil Bhai yrr! Reyansh bhai see how is he saying! Am I looking like a clown?" Khushi said going towards Reyansh. "Let me see. Look at this side. Now the other side." Khushi did as Reyansh said.

"Tch. No Nikhil clowns look more good." Reyansh said and him and Nikhil laughed and high-fived each other. "Bhai you too! Let Abhi bhai come then I'll see you two!" Khushi said stomping her feet. "Bua(aunt) is a clown." Rohan said and Khushi gasped. "You little rascal!" Khushi said and started tickling Rohan who giggled.

"What's happening people?" They heard Ayushmaan's voice and turn to welcome the three. They hugged each other and the three sat on the couch. "Nothing much just waiting for the couple to arrive." Mihika said. "They still didn't came? How much time are they gonna take?" Viraaj asked. "God knows." Khushi said and all chuckled.

Meanwhile upstairs Abhiraaj was already ready in his black velvet suit and is sitting on the bed waiting for his wife to come.

Nowadays, whenever they will see each other Mrunali either averted her gaze or just leave from there. Abhiraaj didn't know what to say to her. Because of this they haven't talked to each other.

Abhiraaj looked at the time then look at the closet door and finally said. "Mrunali are you done? It's almost time. Maa is calling me." Abhiraaj said but he didn't get any reply instead the door opened revealing Mrunali in her beautiful caramel color lehenga.

Her hairs were open and as always she didn't do much makeup. She also wasn't wearing too much jewelleries just a necklace, mangtika and her mangalsutra.

Abhiraaj siezed her from head to toe. He couldn't help but stare at her. Mrunali was doing the same. She was staring at Abhiraaj like she has seen a celebrity.

Both get out from their trance with a phone call which was from chotti maa. Abhiraaj told her they are coming in 15 minutes and cut the call. "Let's go?" He asked forwarding his hand towards her and Mrunali hesitantly took it and nodded. Both then went downstairs.

Abhiraaj helped with her lehenga as they descended down the stairs. "Oh....my....God! You both are looking so amazing!!! Wow." Khushi exclaimed excitedly getting everyone's attention. And they all agreed with Khushi's statement.

"No evil's shall be on you two. You two are looking very lovely!" Mihika said and hugged them. "Chachi you're looking pretty!" Rohan said and Mrunali smiled.

"And you're looking handsome." Mrunali said and Rohan grinned and kissed Mrunali's nose tip which made Mrunali scrunch her nose cutely and smile.

"Ok so gorgeous couple let's have some photos?" Nikhil asked. Both looked at each other but turn away nodding. All of them took two to three photos and finally leave for the venue. The venue was not far from their house so they reached early.

"Ok you two will enter together ok? We are going in first. Bye." With said all went inside leaving the two alone. There was an awkward silence but none of them tried to break it because they don't know how to. Just when they were thinking of talking they were called in.

Abhiraaj gave his hand to Mrunali who accepted it and gave him a small smile which he returned and both move inside. 'Ek Dil Ek Jaan' from Padmavat started playing as the couple entered inside from the dome of roses. The reception is of rose theme. Everyone cheered for the couple.

Both of them made their way to the stage where a big black velvet couch was placed for them. Abhiraaj helped Mrunali with her dress and then get on stage. They first took some pictures and then one by one guests started coming to congratulate them and bless them.

After lots of guests Mrunali finally saw who she was waiting for. Her brother and her three best friends. "Mrunali! Di!" Four of them said as they get on stage and attack Mrunali with a hug. " We missed you." They said. "I missed you guys too." Mrunali replied.

And then the five of them started talking on the stage. Abhiraaj sat on the couch while listening to them talking about nothing in particular. "Ok now we won't bore you anymore. We will go and eat something and will meet you later." Sana said and Mrunali nodded and the four leave.

"Do you guys always talk this much?" Abhiraaj asked. "No. We talked more than this. It's the function so they went or else we can talk for like whole day and night." Mrunali said and Abhiraaj shake his head. "What do you even talk about? I mean where do you get so many things to talk about?" Abhiraaj asked and Mrunali shrugged.

"It just started coming and we started talking." Mrunali replied and then they hear Nikhil's voice. "Now it's time for the most awaited moment! The dance performance by our newlywed couple! Please give a round of applause for my lovely bhai and bhabhi." Nikhil said and clapped and cheered.

Mrunali looked at Abhiraaj. "I didn't know about this." Abhiraaj said and Mrunali nodded. They both stand up and went to the middle of the floor and 'Dekha Hazaron Dafa' from Rustom started playing. The couple started moving along with the song.

Abhiraaj's one hand on her waist and other intertwined with her one hand. Mrunali's one hand was on his shoulder and other intertwined with his other hand. Both swayed to the music. Everyone present in the room were all happy to watch the couple dance. Well not all but who cares about them.

After the dance some more guests came and finally they sat down for eating. "Finally! I was damn hungry." Mrunali said quietly but was heard by Abhiraaj who chuckled quietly and shake his head. Mrunali was just about to put the spoonful of food in her mouth when she heard a voice.

"Hey everyone! Hey Abhiraaj!" It's none other than Riddhima. Mrunali lost her appetite as soon as she saw her. Abhiraaj noticed her and looked at her but she was just staring ahead. Elder Rathores greeted her with fake smiles and feeling insulted Riddhima leave.

"This bitch! I would've killed her." Mihika said. "Me too!" Khushi said. "Calm down both of you." Reyansh said. "Who was she by the way?" Niya asked.

"She was from the school and also one of our client's daughter." Nikhil said. "She always threw herself on Abhi bhai though Abhi bhai rejected her every single time." Sanaya said and everyone nodded.

Abhiraaj's eyes were on Mrunali since Riddhima came. He saw how she stopped eating and how her mood dropped and how her mood lifted when she listened to what Sanaya said and she started eating.

After dinner one by one the guests started leaving and it was only Rathores and Chauhans remaining along with Abhiraaj and Mrunali's friends. "Namaste bhabhi ji. We will be leaving now." Damini Chauhan said.

"It would've been good if you guys have stayed." Chotti maa said. "We would've but there are so many work tomorrow so we have to leave." Ambika Chauhan said. "But next time please stay when you come." Abhiraaj's mom said.

"Sure sure." Damini Chauhan said with a fake smile. Mrunali then hugged her family and friends one by one and they leave. After them Rathores also leave for their home and went to sleep in their respective rooms.
