[Chapter 5]

First Day

It's my first day as a student in this world and I'm currently preparing for my class.

HM told me that I'll be excused as a 'transfery' student, a.k.a the new student. Although, if someone would ask me what empire I came from, she told me to answer that I'm from the Zydarium Kingdom, under the Quithora Empire. Quithora is the current land we are on.

Lucky for me, she gave me set of clothes I could wear. Sa susunod daw kapag nakaipon na ako mula sa classes ko ako na ang bibili.

"Hi, Caelum! Sabay na tayo!" Bati sa'kin ni Blane nang makalabas ako sa kwarto ko. "We're in the same section."

I didn't find Vishian around, maybe she went ahead us.

Sumama na ako kay Blane dahil magkaklase naman kami. After all, she knows where our classroom might be and I don't. The only problem with Blane is that she's loud, though I could bare with it just for a moment.

We got in the classroom and there are only few students inside, siguro dahil maaga aga pa.

Si Blane ay agad agad na tumabi sa mga kakilala niya, naiwan naman akong nakatayo sa pinto dahil 'di ko alam kung sa'n ako uupo.

Whatever, I'll just take the window seat. I'm fortunate that we came here early so I got a good seat.

I could feel stares around me, probably from my classmates. Except from the fact that I'm the only person who has a black hair, I'm a new student.

This brings me back when I was in the mortal world because I got transferred a lot due to my behavior. It sucked, but hey I had character development.

"Hi! Ano pangalan mo?" The person infront of me asked.

Tinignan ko siya. He doesn't look human because of the two small horns on his forehead, he's also got a black sclera and yellow pair of irises. His skin is charcoal like and has sharp teeth.

"Caelum."

He smiled at me, showing the sharpiest teeth I've ever seen. "Ako si Euno, bagong student ka, 'no?"

Tumango ako sa kaniya. I wonder where on earth he came from.

"Galing ako sa underworld, ikaw?"

Napaisip ako saglit, "Zydarium Kingdom."

What's underworld? As in he came from hell? I should really start learning about how the world works here. I feel so ignorant about many things which is probably normal for them.

"Ano divine mo?" He asked more.

Divine, I think that's the term here for 'powers'. 'Yan kasi nakita ko sa divine ability part sa documents ko. I'm a psychic.

"I'm a psychic."

Wala akong balak pahabain pa ang usapan kaya 'di ko na tinanong ang kaniya.

He grinned widely at me as he moved his chair closer to mine, "really? Can you read my mind?"

I sighed and looked at him in the eyes to see what's in his mind,

Number 23.

"You said number twenty-three." I boredly said. I could read minds, only when I look someone in their eyes.

The only people I couldn't read minds is mom and mama, and also Moon. I'm not sure if Moon has the ability to block his mind, but I've never seen an energy around him. Kinda weird, but I let it slid.
