Suna was visibly shaking.
I slowly wiped the blood and guts from her face.
"We can't turn back now," I said to her loud enough for Mani to hear. "If we turn back now, then we'll turn back every time. We'll be stuck here, too afraid to move forward."
"But, Tsubasa," Suna pleaded to me.
"Suna, we need to keep going. I know it's frightening and distrissing, but we need to keep moving forward. I'm here with you two, remember," I said to her trying to alleviate her fears.
"Sis, Tsubasa is right," Mani said standing up and wiping the gunk from his clothes. "If we turn back now we'll never stop turning back. Tsubasa helped us get this far, I'm sure together we'll get through this," he said giving his sister a half-confident smile.
Suna sniffled wiping more of the gunk off her face and clothes. She was still distraught. I could she her silently retching and gaging at the sight.
The worse part was the smell.
"I do think that we should find a safe room as soon as possible," I said.
Mani and Suna nodded in agreement.
