After we got up we gathered our things and readied our weapons.

I checked the passageways for any signs of wandering enemies. Everything was clear so I motioned to Mani and Suna to follow me. We headed down the path leading further into the dungeon.

We ran up against waves of enemies and defeated them quickly.

That rest must have done Mani and Suna some good, they seemed more alert with a stronger sense of resolve. While the explosive enemies still left them feeling out of sorts they pushed on through and did so without complaint.

This dungeon wasn't going to be so easy to beat.

The deeper we went the more traps we ran across. From poisoned darts, and pillars of flame, even to traps that released more enemies. The worst was a pitfall that dropped into a mud pit that slowed movement while being surrounded by several enemies.

Though with a bit of luck and patience, we made it out okay.

It seemed whatever this place was used for they didn't want intruders getting out alive.

Turning around the corner we say a large room lit by a wellspring in the center.

"We made it," I said.
