When I heard Suna fall flat on the floor, she let out a small whimper.
"You okay," I said with a small chuckle.
"Yeah, I'm okay. The floor is rough, though," she replied.
All of us began to laugh. The atmosphere felt calm despite where we were.
We laid there in silence for several minutes.
I sat up and pulled out some rations and took a bite.Mani and Suna watched me and did the same.
After we finished eating, I stood up.
"Feeling better now?" I asked.
"Better," suna responded, "Yeah, I'm good," Mani replied.
"Alright, let's finish up this dungeon!" I said enthusiastically.
"Yeah," Suna and Mani said in a cheerfully.
I could tell they were nervous and were trying to match my faked enthusiasm. But so long as their spirits held up, it didn't matter to me if I lied to myself.
