I missed this couch, this house, this room

I missed this couch, this house, this room. I knew I missed it but being here again made me realize just how much I missed it. Laying down on this couch, I realize how comfortable it is. I pull out my phone, open my notes app and scroll aimlessly. As a writer, I find myself doing this a lot.

One catches my eye, labelled 'bucket list'. I chuckle under my breath. I probably made this before my parents sucked all my light out of me; before I stopped wanting to do things. Not going to lie, I still wish I could do everything on this list, I don't see that happening though.

My eyes averted to Billie as she walked downstairs, her tone and pale legs on display, an oversized t-shit being the only item of clothing on her body. Her hair was damp, falling down her shoulders perfectly. "Whatcu doing?" She questioned, plopping herself on the couch next to me.

"I found my bucket list. How was your shower?" I turned towards her, admiring every one of her features.

"It was nice, would've been nicer with you in it tho," she smirked with a playful wink.

"Mhmm," I hummed, shaking my head with a chuckle.

"Can I see what's on your bucket list?"

"Oh god...It's embarrassing but okay," I sighed, handing her my phone before pulling my legs up to my chest and hugging them. I watched her eyes scan the screen and it was amusing watching her face morph into pure curiosity.

"You're kinda wild. You know that right?" She raised a brow, her eyes still on the screen.

"Well, not really," I shrugged.

"Blow up a car, break a guitar in half, get a tattoo, eat a girl out, do donuts in an empty parking lot, learn to squirt, do-"

"Okay okay," I snatched my phone from her, quickly shutting her up. "I haven't done these things, therefore I am not wild. Also there's a lot of tame ones like... look," I pointed to the screen. "Pay for someone else's groceries, hold a tarantula, send a message in a bottle, find one hundred geocaches, and...." I trailed off, slightly embarrassed at the next point.

"See Billie Eilish live," she read out loud. "Baby, that's adorable. You can check that one off your list, and maybe we can make a few more of those happen," she stood up and walked out of the room.

My brows furrowed with confusion, "where are you going?"

"Hang on," she called out and only moments later she came back with an acoustic guitar in hand. She held it out for me with a smirk on her face.

"What am I supposed to do with that?" I raised a brow.

"Break it in half," she smiled innocently.

"What?!" I shouted in shock.
