They were backstage, getting ready for their performances. The crowd in Taipai was insane, as the boys could already hear their fans chanting. Jungkook and Jimin were on their phones, making a quick post on Twitter. Jin was somewhere further back, warming up his voice. Namjoon and Yoongi were in deep conversation. Hobi, Taehyung, and Dawa were getting their make-up touched up again

"Hyung! Dawa Hyung, you're trending on Twitter!" Jimin shouted. "They're saying that you're such a hero. Hobi hyung! You're also trending."

"The way Dawa was ready to fight was so sexy!" Jungkook read a comment out loud causing Dawa to cringe. "Oh my godd, J Hope is so gentle with her, the way he pulled her out of harm's way was so touching."

"Jungkook, you don't have to read them out loud." Dawa was starting to wish that Twitter didn't exist.

Namjoon stared at Dawa with a proud, soft gaze. 'At least now, the public will see some of his true colors.' he thought.

"Dawa, your ring doesn't really match this look, you shouldn't wear it." One of the stylists pointed out.

Dawa stared down at his ring, then at his stylist. "No, I think I'll keep it on. Thank you for your advice though." He replied, in a slightly passive-aggressive tone.

After the concert, the boys were exhausted but unfortunately, Namjoon, Hobi, and Yoongi decided to work on some new track together. Everyone else decided to go to bed.

Dawa was alone in his room, unable to go to sleep. He tossed and turned in his bed only to switch positions again. He finally gave up after a few hours of restlessness and decided to go for a walk out to the balcony garden. 'I haven't called mum in a long time.'

He pulled out his phone once he reached the balcony garden and decided to give his family a call. The phone rang a few times before sending him to voicemail. He sighed at in disappointment but decided to call another time. In the corner of his eye, he noticed a familiar figure, in the moonlight, looking below at the streets.

"Hyung!" Do Hwan turned around to see his best friend. The older made a quick movement to wash something off his face.

"Hey, why aren't you sleeping?"

"Could ask you the same, hyung." Dawa joined Do Hwan in watching the view. Then he turned again to look at Do Hwan only to realize the puffy eyes. "Hyung, were you...crying?"

"It's nothing for you to worry about."

"I get to decide what to worry about. Hyung, you're my best friend, of course, I'm going to worry about you. You would do the same for me." Dawa reasoned. "I'm not going to pry you into telling me if you don't want to, but I'll worry about you."

Do Hwan just sniffled, glancing at Dawa with tearful eyes. "I-I don't know where to start." Do Hwan to a sharp breath, looking down at the car.

"It's okay. I'll wait. You can tell me whatever you feel like telling me."

There were a few moments of silence between them. All that could be heard was the cars, The night sky was too cloudy for the stars to be seen. The wind was still, but even then, the air remained cold.

"When I was younger, there was a Taekwondo competition. I was probably seven or eight. Anyway, for the past month, I'd been training for the competition. My dad was my teacher. I trained so hard that I would end up with bruises all over the next day. I did everything he told me to do." Do Hwan sighed, "It was brutal. When I fell, he told me not to cry, he said crying was a sign of weakness. On the day of the competition, I did pretty well. I got second place, and I was so happy. All my hard work paid off. But that night my father yelled at me. And the next month of training was even crueler."
