I woke up when I heard someone whisper my name.

I opened my eyes and saw Gio lightly shaking me.

"Nora, wake up." He said as I sat up rubbing my eyes to wake up fully.

"You'll be late for work." He said and I looked at the time.

I was late-

I jumped out of bed as I ran in the bathroom to do freshen up.

I quickly did my routine and put on a beige silk top with black trousers.

I brought my black suit jacket too incase I wanted to wear it.

I went to the dresser in the room as I combed my hair and quickly did some simple makeup.

Gio was eyeing me as I was getting ready but I didn't have time to question it.

Once I was done I rushed down whilst Gio followed behind me.

I was about to grab my car keys when he spoke.

"I'm giving you a ride." He said and I didn't have time to argue so I listened.

I sat in his black car as he drove.

I finally caught my breath as I sat in the car adjusting my makeup.

"Thanks for waking me." I said.

"It's my duty as your husband now." He smirked at me and I rolled my eyes.

"Don't roll your eyes at me." He said.

"Why not Mr D'Angelo?" I teased him.

"I'd prefer it if you rolled your eyes when I'm buried deep inside you."

My eyes widened at his words.

Wth-

It's getting hot in here-

I cleared my throat and spoke. "It's rich of you to assume I'd ever let you."

"Let's see Mrs D'Angelo." He smirked.

I looked out the window trying to control the blush that was appearing on my face.

I don't know what has gotten into him, and I don't know if I like it.

We finally made it to the office in what felt like ages.

I smiled and thanked Gio as I left the car.

I walked up to the elevator since my office was on the 11th floor.

People were congratulating me on the way.

I got in the elevator and pressed the 11th floor, as the doors shut.

After a while the elevator stopped at my floor and I got out entering my office.

It was the same as I had left it.

I knew I had double the work now because of missing so many days. Luckily, no one complained. Well no one dared complain or I'd kick them out.

My PA entered informing me that she had done everything I asked her to do yesterday.

She handed me all the work that needed reviewing and there was even more than a I thought.

This was going to be a long day...

Time skip - a few hours later.

It was now 6pm and I was almost finished with my work.

That's when my PA entered.

"Ma'am these are for you" She said as she placed flowers on my table.

They were tulips-

I was allergic to tulips.

There was a letter attached with was luckily dancing off the edge not touching the flowers.

I grabbed the letter and read it.

'I see you my love, I always do. But I have to say you look sexy in a suit. I can't decide what I like you in more though, a suit or nothing?

Ps. Congrats on the wedding. It's a shame I didn't get an invite.

My eyes widened at the letter as my breathing increased.

I grabbed my phone dialing Gio's number but he wouldn't pick up so instead I walked out the office.

Not many people were here at this time which was good so they didn't see my tumbling around.

I was breathing heavily as I entered the elevator with the letter and my phone in my hand.

I can't believe he would send me such a letter.

I can't believe this vicious man ever had the chance to see me at my most vulnerable state. How could I have let him touch me and fool me?

How could this jerk have took my virginity?

The elevator door opened as I stumbled out still breathing heavily.

My driver was by the car and when he saw me he instantly held my hand helping me in the car.

I sat in the back as he drove.

"Ma'am I should take you to the hospital." He said worried.

"No, take me home." I said still breathing heavily.

Tears were pooling out of my eyes as I dug my own nails into the palm of my hand.

The feeling of fear was too much.

The driver seemed to be on the phone to someone which I discovered was Gio when I heard him shout on the other end of the phone.

He was calling me too but I didn't have the energy to pick up.

We made it to the mansion as I saw Gio rushing towards the car as he opened the door.

"Are you ok? What happened." He questioned holding my hand.

He saw the letter in my hand which he instantly took and read.

His eyes instantly darkened in anger whilst more tears kept streaming down my face.

He lifted me out of the car, bridal style, and took me inside.

I rested my head on his shoulder as I felt emptiness wash over me.

I wanted it all to end, and quickly. I didn't have the patience anymore.

He walked up the stairs with me in his arms as he kicked the room door open and placed me in the bed.

He sat beside me as he covered me with the blanket.

I was still crying. I couldn't control it.

He put my hand in his as he rubbed them.

"I'll destroy him Nora, I promise."
