As they approached Yuen and me
Yuen asked Yeon -" why are you soaked to bone?you came with them ,right?"
Qiao creepily replied -"Ya.... but something happened just a moment ago, right yeon?"
Yuen Look a step back and suspiciously, looked at Qiao
Ryan quickly added " it's nothing.....really yuen".
yuen crossed her arms and narrowed her eyes to them. Meanwhile,Yeon felt
a little embrassed.Ryan smiled & said
"Let's have something to eat, I'm starving".
Yuen replied-" okay, fine. I'll take
care of it later"
Ryan shrugged and walked out to the counter. Yuen & Qiao to followed him.
"what is happening between them?I wondered, as yeon's sudden presence beside me made me feel tensed. I glanced at Yeon, but he quickly diverted his gaze.I would feel the tension in the air, wanted to ask what was going on, but I hesitated. we both didn't utter a single word.
Finally yuen & Ryan came back with the food I noticed that Qiao was not with them. I was about to ask, but
Yeon asked where he was & soon enough Qiao came back after settling
the bill. All of us started having food ,
Yuen said -"okay... Let me tell the
details about yesterday's talks & Yuen went on- "actually, we both work
as floral designers for HR company that manages events, & they need a group to perform at functions, SO
guys are you interested in asking part?"
Yuen explained the details and how they could apply.I could feel Yeon's eyes on me while they were talking,
but I didn't have the courage to look at him. I could feel my cheek burning, but I couldn't muster the nerve to meet his eyes. I tried to concentrate on what Yuen was saying, but I couldn't,
Lastly Yuen said "I have sent details to Qiao's phone, look into it and see if it works, then call me."
Qiao & Ryan nodded. Yeon said with a smile -"rain has stopped!"
Qiao replied "okay... Let's wrap up and head back before it rains again", Yuen nodded in agreement. All of us got up and moved outside the cafe. When we got out I saw a flower shop
with lavender and I quickly grabbed yuen's hand to buy one for me since I didn't have any money. She smiled and bought one for me. Yeon's gaze
was unspoken but meaningful and I felt my heart swell with joy where
Qiao asked Yeon by watching me-" Is it the same girl". Yeon slowly smiled & nodded Qiao's face lit up with
understanding. After a few minutes, we said goodbye ,I and Yuen departed and they too... I hoped that we could all be together again soon.
