Now it was around 7.45 at night. I was sitting on the bench in the park with yuen and yeon , Ryan and Qiao on the other. The street lights twinkled
casting a warm glow over us & the park, while gentle breeze whispered
through the trees. We all shared
stories and laughed together - something I hadn't done since my parents passed away. I was grateful
that yuen, Yeon, Ryan & Qiao had entered my life.
As soon as Ryan said -"Aren't anyone hungry? it's 9 now - I'm going to
get something to eat"
yuen quickly followed him, qiao also ran behind them by saying - "I am coming too .
With a smile i watched them going I saw yeon sleeping by covering his face by cap. A Peaceful sleep was being enjoyed by him. My feelings for him are so far beyond a friendship, but I am unable to share them with him. However suddenly his hand chain caught my attention - " it reminds me of my half butterfly chain.... no, it's the same one, the other half". I thought to myself and touched his hand. In a flash, I heard a
" What are you doing?"
i looked up and saw Yeon looking into my
face.
"huh... I was just checking what it was!"
He came closer to me & I moved little back. Suddenly I could feel my heart racing as he stared at me. The moment felt like eternity yet all I would think was -"Does he know what I'm really feeling?" seeing his eyes,
I thought its similar to the ones I saw
in a flash" I asked him -" do you know me earlier ?"
He tilted his head & with a slight smirk replied -"I think so"
"what..."- I asked in a stuttered tone, he leaned a little closer towards me & said in a soft voice, -"you will figure it out soon enough!"
By saying that he stood up & walked
away without looking back. I was left confused and anxious. I tried to make sense of what had just happened & followed him .
YEON'S POV:
My sleep was peaceful until someone touched my hand & I understood- it was Aera. She was sitting next to me, her warm breath was hitting my hand when she bent to touch my hand. I could feel her presence, the heat of her body, the peacefulness of her gaze. I opened my eyes & asked- "what are you doing?"
then she looked up & said in a stuttering tone- "uhh...i was just checking what was it" . I couldn't help
but admire the connection we shared in that moment. I leaned closer to her
and she moved backs bit. She seemed lost in her thoughts, but mine weren't much good. she asked me - do you know me earlier ?"
I hesitated for a moment unsure of how to answer her but I felt happy at the time. I tilted my head with a slight smirk and replied, " I think so.",
"what"- asked in a stuttered tone.
I leaned little more closers towards
and said in a soft voice, -"You'll figure it out soon enough"
she looked at me with a puzzled expression, her mind spinning with the possibilities of what I could have meant. By saying that I stood up to find them & she followed me.
END OF YEON'S POV:
We found them after a few minutes of searching and joined them.We eventually said our goodbyes and seperate ways.It was a wonderful night that I will never forget.
