I am getting married today. The last fifteen days passed in a blink of an eye.

The engagement, sangeet, haldi, mehndi and the other ceremonies were celebrated.

Despite the whirlwind, Vivaan and I haven't had the chance to engage in conversation. His messages promising a later response only heightened my anticipation.

Yet, amidst his busyness, Vivaan's gestures during our meetings spoke volumes of his care, causing my heart to flutter with affection.

I am falling in love with Vivaan. His small gestures, his care and his presence always provide me a sense of comfort.

I am very excited and nervous too. But I guess everything will be fine as Vivaan will always be beside me. And our marriage life is going to be a bliss. Me and Vivaan together, all that matters to me.

Lost in contemplation, a gasp interrupts my thoughts. It's my mother, her eyes glistening with tears.

"My Anaya is looking so beautiful" My mother said while applying the kohl behind my ear and hugged me.

As tears well up in my eyes, the bittersweet realization sinks in – today, I embark on a new chapter, leaving behind the warmth of my family, with the promise of a beautiful future alongside Vivaan.

As my dad, bhai, chacha-chachi, and cousins entered the room, their eyes welled up with emotion—a rare sight, marking the significance of this moment.

"Anaya, you can still say no to this marriage and can live with us for the rest of your life." Dad said and my family nodded their head.

"Dad, What are you saying?" I asked

"That you don't have to marry anyone and live with us only" Samarthya bhaiya replied and tears escaped as I grappled with the impending separation.
