— 5:09 PM. I was currently getting ready for one of my classmates' Bat Mitzvah that starts at 6. I was straightening my already straight hair when my phone started ringing. Glancing over at the caller ID, I saw 'D💗'. A smile spread across my face as I picked up my phone to answer the FaceTime call, placing it against my vanity mirror upright. (Guys, sorry if that doesn't make sense, basically, you know an...DY, so I got D as the nickname, which sounds better than A).
"What do you want?" I said with a fake annoyed tone, though a smile crept onto my face.
"Can't I call my beautiful girlfriend when I'm bored?" he questioned playfully, laying down on his bed.
"Wow, so you only call me when you're bored? I see how it is," I replied, placing a hand over my heart and giving him a mock pained expression before we both burst out laughing.
"Let me guess... you need a drive," I said, grabbing my Flower Knows makeup (it's literally the prettiest thing ever, so search it up if you don't know what it is), "come over, my parents will be fine with it."
"Be there in 10 minutes, pretty," he said before hanging up the phone. I smiled to myself before returning to doing my makeup.
Ten minutes later, I heard the front door open and two people talking before a set of footsteps ascended the stairs and entered my room. Glancing over to the door, I smiled from my vanity.
"Heyyy," Andy greeted as he walked over to me and pecked the crown of my head.
"You're seriously wearing that... it's so... basic," I remarked, judging his outfit through the mirror.
"Well, sorry, fashion princess," he retorted, flopping onto my California king-sized bed. I got up from my vanity and walked towards my walk-in closet to pick out an outfit to wear.
