Chapter 30

♤ Ares ♤

I wake up to Ezra humming to a song.

Her small hands make small movements to whatever ever music she's listening to.

I yawn as I get up and walk to my bathroom.

I do what I have to before getting out again.

I haven't talked to Haru in a while. Ezra and Esme seemed to hit it off when they first met.

Maybe I should invite Haru and Esme to come over to my house and hang out or something.

"Ares?"

"Yes darling?"

I see a light blush crees on her cheeks.

New nickname.

"Can we not go to school today?" She asks playing with her fingers.

"Baby, we've already missed a lot of days. Plus you don't want to have to repeat the year right?"

She shakes her head.

"I've been doing my work online though" She looks up at me.

Why didn't I think of that?

"Then Yeah we don't have to go" I say walking to my closet.

"What are we gonna do today?" Ezra says following me to my closet.

"I was thinking of inviting Haru and Esme over to hang out or maybe go out to eat" I say grabbing a black t-shirt and dark blue jeans.

"That sounds nice" She says handing me my shoes.

I place a kiss on her forehead.

She smiles up at me.

I love this girl so much. Words can't explain it.

"I'm going to get changed. Pick out your clothes and change too, okay?"

"Okay" she says looking through her clothes.

I go into the bathroom again, change, and go back out to my room.

"Shit! Sorry love." I say covering my eyes.

"It's okay."

I should've asked before just walking out! What is wrong with me?

"You can open now" I do.

Her outfit is a lavender crop top that reaches the top of her belly button, blue jeans that cover the top of her shoes, she's wearing her white air forces, and some gold rings.

How did she do all that in less then 10 minutes?

"You look so pretty, mi vida" I say walking over to her with a smile.

She smiles back at me.

I lean down a kiss her lips.

Her lip gloss tastes like strawberry. I like it.

We pull away a few seconds later.

"Let me text Haru, and see if he can come over. Wanna go out to get breakfast until he replies?"

"Yes please!" She says excited.

We get a few things, Ez gets a white purse that matches her outfit, and go to my car.

It's crazy to think that I was such a loner before I met Ezra. I'm now outgoing. She's changed me. For the better of course! I've changed her as well. She's more confident and independent. Sure there are those moments where she goes to her past self but remembers that she doesn't go through that anymore and she's safe.
