Chapter 19

After dealing with the group chat for a bit Ava had persuaded Taylor to watch one of her favourite Disney movies with her The Princess and the Frog.

"Mama! I don't have time for dancing!"

Ava began to sing along, she related to Almost there so much and she truly loved that song and the movie it is from. Ava had persuaded everyone in the house to watch the movie with her, that included the bodyguards that were inside. Iliza and Ava's dad joining Ava in singing,

The trio began to sing together, Ava even getting up to dance behind the couch as to not get in anyone's way. Taylor smiled at how much Ava was enjoying herself now, Taylor understanding that Ava wasn't a Christmas person for a very good reason, not just someone who hated Christmas. She hoped maybe to give Ava some good Christmas memories to at least try and outweigh the bad, considering she was a really big Christmas person. Taylor knowing she was never going to be able to make the pain and trauma Ava had from Christmas go away but hoping she could make it more bearable.

Ava sung the other two letting her shine, Taylor watched the dark haired girl as she sung along, Taylor knowing she was taking the lyrics to heart.

Ava sang as she went over to give her dad a hug from behind, the older man giving his daughter a smile.

Ava sung, Taylor not taking her eyes off the dark haired woman the entire time not that Ava noticed. As Ava sat down back next to her two best friends, her phone vibrated, Ava taking her phone out to see a message from Finneas O'Connell. Ava had worked with Finneas when she lived in Los Angeles and they were good friends.

Hey Ava, how ya been?

Ava laughed as she read the message from her old friend as Taylor read over her shoulder, confused who Finneas was.

"Who's Finneas?"

Taylor asked as Ava sent Finneas a reply,

Ferb
I have been good Finneas, how about you?

Ava and Finneas were like Finneas and ferb back when Ava lived in Los Angeles.

"Finneas O'Connell is one of my songwriting friends from back when I lived in Los Angeles. Which now that I think about it wasn't that long ago but that doesn't matter. Back to the movie, I will make Finneas wait, he'll be fine."

Ava told Taylor, shooting Finneas a quick message before turning her phone off to focus on the movie.
