Chapter 32

Kıvılcım sat down on the bed. Omer sat next to her. She grabbed his hand. Omer was very happy.

Kıvılcım: I... I didn't want to tell you about the pregnancy because ...

She didn't finish because Omer interrupted her.

Omer: Because you wanted to surprise me.

Kıvılcım: No.

Omer: I don't understand.

Tears began to flow from her eyes.

Kıvılcım: I didn't want to say anything to you because I don't want that baby. I want to remove this baby.

He laughed.

Omer: Good joke.

Kıvılcım she looked at him with sad eyes.

Omer: You're not kidding.

He got out of bed and took a step backwards.

Kıvılcım: No. I want to remove this child.

Omer: Do you know what you are saying?

Kıvılcım: I don't want that baby.

Omer: You won't do that. You're not gonna remove our baby.

Kıvılcım: I've already made my decision.

Omer: You made the decision. I have something to say, too. This is my baby, too.

Kıvılcım: We talked a while ago. I told you I didn't want a baby.

Omer: I remember. But look, isn't that a sign?

Kıvılcım: We made a mistake not protecting ourselves.

Omer: Kıvılcım,  you're pregnant. It's another fruit of our love. It's not a mistake.

Kıvılcım started crying. She covered her face with her hands. Omer looked at her. He was angry.

Kıvılcım: I won't change my mind.

Omer started screaming.

Omer: YOU'RE CRAZY! YOU WANT TO GET RID OF OUR BABY?

Kıvılcım: Please, don't scream.

Omer: I WLL SCREAM! YOU WANT TO KILL OUR BABY! THINK AGAIN!

There was screaming in the hallway.

Doga: What's happening?

Kerem: I don't know. Strange.

Umut: Something must have happened. Omer rarely reacts like that.

Doga: I will go in there.

Kerem: No. Leave them. They will probably calm down soon.

Doga: I hope.

Umut: I will call Nursema and tell them not to worry.

Doga: Okay. But do not tell them about the pregnancy. Pembe is gonna start talking.

Umut: Right. I'll tell Nursema that it was due to tiredness.

Doga: Fine.

Omer rushed out of the room. Without looking at anyone, he went to the car and drove off..

Kerem: He was angry.

Umut: I wonder why.

Doga: Kerem, Take care of Ali. I'm gonna go see my mom.

She went into the room. Kıvılcım was sitting on the floor and crying. Doga came up to her and hugged her. She started crying, too.
