So basically, my dad talked to my mom and he agreed that she can see me on weekends. But of course, we're not letting her go to the Man Cave just yet. Using Mrs. Haven's permission, my dad and I pretended that we live at her and Kelly's house. So that when she visits on weekends, she'll think that we live in a normal house in the suburbs.
"Okay guys, you can wait right here and the vice mayor will be in to see you shortly." the woman lead us to the Vice Mayor's office
"Alright then."
"Sounds good."
"Hmmm, shortly."
"Would you like some bottled water while you wait?" the lady offered
"Nah thanks, water's gross." I smiled politely
"Said the girl who lives off of Red Bull." Kid Danger muttered behind me as we walked further into the office.
"Yeah I'll have some.. Bottled water." Captain Man nodded
"Sure, would you like it cold or room temperature?"
"Why don't you surprise me?"
"Okay, I'll be right back." she left the room
"Yes. I'll remain here."
"Hey." Kid Danger called out "What do you think this thing is?"
"That's just a paper weight." I crossed my arms
"Hmm, are you sure? Looks like a--" as he lifted up the weight, papers started flying everywhere
"Whoa! What the- what's happening?!"
"Just put it down! Put it back down, quick!"
Suddenly, the vice mayor walked in.
"Ah, hello there.. Captain Man, Kid Danger, and Danger Gir--" he stopped in his tracks once he saw his messy office as Kid Danger and I tried to act casual.
"Oh, your uh.. Your paper weight uh.."
"Your paper weight failed." Kid Danger blurted out
..
"Anyway, have a seat fellas. We need to have a little chit-chat."
"Yes."
"Alright.. Havin' a seat right here."
"Chit the ol' chat, as they say."
"No one says that."
We sat down on the three leather chairs in front of the vice mayor's desk. But for some reason, Kid Danger and I's chairs were shorter.
"Now.." the vice mayor began "I've called you here because I--"
"Excuse me, vice mayor Willard." the lady from earlier walked in holding a tray with a water bottle on it.
